Since launching in April 2024, we've grown from 0 to 200+ customers, raised $52M from investors including a16z, 8VC and Y Combinator. Our AI agents retrieve deduction data, validate charges, automate cash application, and dispute invalid claims — work that would take a full-time employee years to complete. For a $1B CPG brand, a single Glimpse agent reviewed 17,000 deductions in under 24 hours, identifying over $10M in recoverable revenue. We're building the next-generation suite of services for consumer brands and are looking for exceptional people to help us scale. ## About the role We’re hiring a Product Operations Manager to own how well our product actually recovers money for customers — and to make sure everything we learn from that work flows back into a better product. This is a role for someone who is equal parts operator and analyst. You’ll live in the data behind shortage deductions and recovery, track whether we’re winning the dollars we should be, dig into why we’re not when we’re not, and translate those findings into clear insights for customers and concrete product gaps for our team to close. You sit at the seam between our customers, our operations, and our product and engineering teams — and you’re the person who makes sure that recovery outcomes and product quality keep improving together. If you like turning messy operational reality into clean signal, and you want that signal to directly shape an AI product that’s redefining an industry, this is a great fit. ## What you'll do - Own recovery tracking and outcomes. Monitor the full deduction-to-recovery pipeline across accounts — shortage and other deduction types — and keep a close eye on the metrics that matter: recovery rate, dispute win rate, deductions as a percentage of revenue, time to resolution, and revenue at risk from approaching dispute windows. You’ll know, at any moment, how much money is on the table and how well we’re capturing it. - Turn data into insight. Get deep into recovery and deduction data to find patterns — which retailers, deduction reasons, or claim types are underperforming, where valid disputes are slipping through dispute windows, and where the biggest recovery opportunities sit. Build the dashboards, reporting, and quantified narratives that make those findings obvious to customers and to the team. - Close the loop back to product. Be the voice of what’s actually happening in production. Identify gaps in how our agents classify deductions, match backup documentation, and queue disputes — then translate those gaps into prioritized, well-scoped product requirements. Partner with product and engineering to see improvements through and confirm they move the numbers. - Sharpen the operational playbook. Standardize and document how recovery work gets done — the workflows, exception handling, and quality checks that keep agent output accurate and customers confident. Spot the manual, repetitive steps that should be automated next. - Be a trusted partner to enterprise customers and internal teams. Our customers are large, enterprise CPG brands with high-volume, high-stakes deduction activity. Work alongside our customer-facing teams to explain recovery performance to these accounts, answer “why did this happen,” and set expectations with senior stakeholders. Bring the operational reality of our enterprise accounts back into planning conversations with product, engineering, and leadership. ## What we're looking for - 4+ years in product operations, revenue operations, strategy/consulting, analytics, program management, or a comparable data-heavy operational role. - Genuinely strong with data — comfortable pulling, cleaning, and analyzing it yourself (SQL and/or advanced spreadsheets required; BI tools a plus), and able to turn analysis into a clear recommendation. - A track record of finding the “why” behind the numbers and turning it into action, not just reporting it. - Excellent written and verbal communication — you can make a complex recovery story simple for a customer and precise for an engineer. - Highly organized and self-directed; you thrive in an early, fast-moving environment where the process often doesn’t exist yet. - Comfortable working across customers, operations, product, and engineering, and translating fluently between them. Nice to have: - Experience in CPG, retail, supply chain, deductions/chargebacks, accounts receivable, or fintech/revenue recovery. - Familiarity with deduction and dispute workflows — backup documentation (bill of lading, proof of delivery, packing slips), dispute windows, and write-offs. - Exposure to AI/ML products or human-in-the-loop operations. - You’ve been an early operational hire before and helped build a function from scratch. ## WHY JOIN GLIMPSE You'll join a company that has found genuine product-market fit and is scaling fast — with the infrastructure, capital, and team to match. Your work will directly shape how hundreds of CPG brands run their back office. And you'll have real ownership: of your accounts, your outcomes, and the AM function itself as we build it from the ground up. - Competitive salary with meaningful equity - In-person team in NYC – high ownership, fast feedback loops - Direct impact on a company growing at an exceptional pace - A front-row seat to building the operating system for CPG brands GLIMPSE is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. GLIMPSE will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law. ## About Glimpse ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Glimpse is an AI-native platform that automates deductions management, revenue recovery, and cash application for consumer goods (CPG) brands, turning previously accepted losses into a strategic revenue channel. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A – $35M led by Andreessen Horowitz, total raised $52M; backed by Y Combinator) - **Headquarters**: New York, NY, USA (Y Combinator page) and London, England (Built In) – conflicting reports; likely dual HQ as per job postings. - **Founded**: 2024 - **Founders**: Akash Raju (CEO), Anuj Mehta (CTO), Kushal Negi (CPO) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: CPG retail operations / Deductions management & revenue recovery - **Target customers**: B2B – mid-market and enterprise CPG brands (e.g., Suave, Chapstick, Lemon Perfect) and retail partners - **Mission or purpose statement**: “Bring consumer brands into the world of AI” – empowering brands to grow with stronger margins and smarter operations rather than scaling headcount to manage complexity. ## Products & Services - **Deductions Management**: AI agents that automatically retrieve, validate, and dispute retailer deductions. Achieves a 91% dispute win rate and removes up to 80% of manual labor hours. - **Revenue Recovery**: Automated lookback of past deductions and chargebacks to recover lost revenue; for a $1B CPG, one agent reviewed 17,000 deductions in under 24 hours, identifying $10M+ in recoverable revenue. - **Cash Application**: Real-time, AI-driven synchronization of payments and credit memos to the company’s ERP, reducing manual cash matching. - **Deduction Itemization & Data Ingestion**: Centralizes fragmented data from retailer portals, emails, PDFs, and ERP systems into a single platform. Also reports 14x year‑over‑year growth. - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Andreessen Horowitz (lead), 8VC, Y Combinator. - **Growth Signals**: 200+ brands & retail partners; 4.3x more disputes filed; 2.5% topline revenue lift (implied); headcount of ~27 (as of YC profile), hiring aggressively across GTM, engineering, and implementation roles. ## Competitive Advantages - **AI‑native and CPG‑specific**: Built exclusively for retailer deduction workflows, not a generic automation tool. - **Measurable ROI**: Dispute win rate of 91%, no minimum dollar threshold (every fee reviewed), and up to 80% reduction in manual labor hours. - **Speed of deployment**: Agent can process the equivalent of two years of manual work in under 24 hours. - **Deep integrations**: Seamless sync with ERP systems and retailer portals, creating a single source of truth for back‑office operations. ## Strategic Focus - **Scale the platform**: Expand from deduction management into a broader “system of action” for retail operations (including trade spend management and cash flow optimization). - **Expand customer base**: Onboard more mid‑market and enterprise CPG brands, particularly those with complex retailer networks. - **Deepen AI capabilities**: Improve agent intelligence for higher‑accuracy validation and automated dispute resolution, while reducing manual exceptions. ## Why Work Here - **Culture & values**: Early‑stage startup backed by top‑tier VCs (a16z, YC) with a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment. Built In lists “Career Growth & Development,” “Compensation & Benefits,” and “Stability & Growth” as strengths. - **Work policy**: On‑site workspace in New York (NYC HQ) and London offices. Typical time on‑site: None specified, but roles are listed as on‑site. - **Notable perks**: Equity‑based compensation at an early stage; opportunity to define engineering and product culture as a founding‑era hire. - **Engineering culture**: Focus on AI agent architecture, large‑scale data processing (17k deductions/24h), and building infrastructure for the CPG industry – a historically underserved vertical. ## Sources 1.
