We value flexibility and hold regular in-person working sessions to keep us moving in the same direction, quickly. ## THE ROLE Speckle is looking for a U.S.-based Product Specialist to sit at the intersection of growth and product, who can translate Speckle's platform into real, tangible workflows for the people building the world's most complex projects. This is a role for an experienced VDC practitioner. We're looking for someone who's lived Virtual Design & Construction from the inside and is ready to scale that expertise across an industry. You've owned model coordination, clash detection, federation, QA/QC and data workflows on live projects, preferably complex ones. You know exactly where the built environment's data breaks down, because you've been the one untangling it at 11pm before a coordination meeting. This role will give you the opportunity to take that hard-won knowledge and apply it not to one project, but to how hundreds of firms manage their data. You'll be talking to VDC directors, BIM managers, and digital delivery leads every week and the fastest way to earn their trust is simple: you've done their job. You'll work alongside our sales team to land and expand enterprise deals by proving value in the context of a customer's project delivery workflows and enterprise data ecosystem, translating Speckle’s features and capabilities into tangible workflows and business outcomes. You'll be the person customers call when they want to understand not just what Speckle can do, but how it fits into their specific stack, workflows, and problems. What you'll do: - Own pre-sales technical engagements: Lead discovery, configure tailored demos, and work with prospects to validate that Speckle solves urgent and expensive problems for their firm. Make sure Speckle’s business case and return on investment is clearly understood. - Become a trusted advisor on VDC and data workflows: Beyond Speckle itself, you'll help prospects think through broader questions about project data strategy, BIM execution, model coordination, and interoperability to position Speckle as a long-term partner, not just a tool - Own sales enablement resources: Build and maintain the collateral, technical guides, and reference materials that help our sales team engage more effectively, from qualification through to close. Improve our enterprise pilot process and create enablement materials to increase activation and conversion rate. - Lead our monthly webinar series: In partnership with our Chief Growth Officer, own end-to-end execution of Speckle's event program: Events, Conferences, Webinar. From setting the content calendar, sourcing speakers, and delivering sessions that speak directly to the AEC and VDC practitioners we're trying to reach - Feed product with field intelligence: You're closest to what customers actually struggle with. You'll surface patterns and insights that inform how we build, being a key connector between the Growth and Product teams. - Build the playbook as you go: We don't have every process locked down yet, and you'll help define what great looks like for our enterprise pilot process and customer enablement 2026 Priorities & Success Metrics - Build and document the Sales Engineering playbook, including technical discovery and a tailored demo environments, so that it is ready to hand off to a second hire - Deliver an increased win rate on Product Specialist-touched deals: once your onboarding is complete, positively impact our growth by decreasing sales cycle length and increasing our win rate on new enterprise deals - 3+ customer-validated workflow templates published (e.g., model federation, data validation, QTO reporting) that accelerate onboarding and serve as referenceable proof points ## YOUR PROFILE Domain Expertise - Expert (3-8 years) in VDC, digital delivery, or BIM coordination role at a general contractor, design firm, or engineering consultancy — you've owned model coordination and data workflows on real projects, not just discussed them - Deep familiarity with project data workflows: how models develop, how data gets structured, and where collaboration and data handoffs break down - Hands-on with the AEC/VDC stack: Revit, Navisworks, ACC / BIM 360, Civil 3D, Rhino, Plant 3D, OpenPlant, Power BI, IFC-based workflows, or similar - Bonus: Speckle experience.
