We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment. As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years. ## What you will be doing This role owns the answer to two questions the floor asks every morning: what do we build today, and what do we ship today. You will sit between supply chain, business development, production and engineering- converting material availability and customer demand into a daily, weeks’ worth SKU-level build plan that production leads can execute without interpretation. You will also set the daily ship priorities that packout works from. The plan you publish is the plan the factory runs. You will make prioritization calls from the reports of clear to build, sales demand, and production capacity. You will work closely with production leadership when the schedule needs to change. ## Responsibilities - Attend supply chain and material reviews to establish a clear-to-build picture across a rolling 30-day horizon, by SKU and by constraints - Publish and maintain a daily, SKU-level production build plan that sequences the right configurations at the right time against material, labor, and test capacity - Reconcile plan versus actual daily, surface variance the day it occurs, and work with production leadership on recovery plans - Partner with business development, program management, and logistics to build the daily ship list, and give the packout team clear direction on which orders go out and in what order - Confirm configuration, accessory content, and documentation requirements are set before an order reaches packout - Create, release, and track production work orders in MES so the build plan is reflected in the system of record - Monitor work order status, WIP aging, and throughput data in the MES to inform the daily plan - Partner with the MES Engineer and manufacturing engineering when process plans, routings, or ECO effectivity need to change. You will identify the need and provide production context. Ownership of process plan configuration sits with the Manufacturing Engineer You should have the following - 3+ years in production planning, scheduling, or production control in a physical manufacturing environment - Experience building an executable production schedule against constrained material availability, and maintaining it as conditions change - Working fluency with routings, bills of material, work orders, and revision control - Hands-on experience with an MES or ERP as a daily user - Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and building a model other people can use - Comfortable spending real time on the floor. This plan is built at the station, not from a desk - Clear written communication. Your daily plan is read by people who will not have a chance to ask you to clarify it ## Nice to have - Experience in aerospace, defense, robotics, or another regulated hardware environment - Direct experience with Manufacturo, or a comparable MES - Exposure to Netsuite or a comparable ERP alongside an MES - Familiarity with ECO and ECN workflows and alternate part number strategy - Track record supporting line ramp-up in a startup environment US Salary Range $82,500 - $115,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package. We’re an equal opportunity employer. We welcome all applicants without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. ## About Neros Technologies ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: A defense technology company building combat-proven, attritable drones and unmanned systems to deliver asymmetric advantage for Western military forces at scale. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series B) - **Headquarters**: Los Angeles, California, United States (El Segundo area) - **Founded**: 2023 - **Founders**: Soren Monroe‑Anderson (CEO) and Olaf Hichwa (CTO) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Defense and Space Manufacturing - **Target customers**: U.S. Department of Defense (Army, Marine Corps), allied nations (Ukraine, UK), and NATO partners – B2G / government. - **Mission statement**: “Building unmanned superiority.
