not publicly traded) - **Headquarters**: Washington, D.C., United States (1615 H St NW) - **Founded**: 2011 (launched March 2011) - **Founders**: Not publicly attributed — launched by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation; current President is Eric Eversole ## Core Business - **Primary industries**: Nonprofit workforce development, veteran/military-spouse employment services, talent matching - **Target customers**: B2B (employers seeking military talent) and B2C (service members, veterans, military spouses/caregivers); partners include roughly 2,000 employers annually and multiple military installations - **Mission**: Connect the military community with civilian companies to create economic opportunity and a strong, diversified workforce — positioning military talent at the forefront of an evolving economy ## Products & Services - **Corporate Fellowship Program**: A SkillBridge-approved, 12-week paid fellowship that places transitioning service members with civilian employers through hands-on, experiential learning — the flagship program delivered across multiple regional sites. - **Hiring Events & Career Summits**: In-person and virtual hiring fairs, career summits, and military spouse hiring events held on-base and online, pairing military talent directly with vetted employers. - **Skilled Trades Academy**: An employer-aligned training track launching careers in high-demand trades such as construction, manufacturing, and data centers — without requiring a college degree (currently expanding, including a site at Fort Belvoir, VA). - **Career Accelerator / Amplify**: Programs designed for military spouses, including Career Accelerator fellowships and Amplify career-preparation sessions that help address portable career pathways. - **Digital Tools & Job Board**: Centralized job board plus free self-service resources like the Resume Engine, enabling military-connected users to build resumes and find roles from anywhere in the world. - **The Collective**: A newly launched initiative (mentioned in HOH's 2025 impact story) broadening employer engagement and workforce solutions. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed — nonprofit entity (estimated annual revenue of $5M–$25M per LinkedIn company data) - **Key Metric**: Served 78,757 unique individuals in 2025; HOH's 2,466 fellowship participants achieved an **85% employment offer rate** in 2025; HOH has **tripled the number of individuals served since 2020** - **Notable Investors/Partners**: U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation; nearly 2,000 employer partners annually; operating across more than two dozen military installations; partnership with skills-building platforms (e.g., SkillsBuild) - **Growth Signals**: Headcount of ~115 employees (+9.9% YoY, +46 people); launched the Skilled Trades Academy and The Collective in 2025; expanded from on-base hiring fairs into a national digital workforce platform; presence distributed across the U.S. plus team members in Australia, Bangladesh, and Malaysia ## Competitive Advantages - **Trusted on-the-ground relationships**: Deep ties with military installations and the military community built since 2011, creating credibility few staffing firms can match. - **Public-private partnership engine**: Leverages the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's network to mobilize nearly 2,000 employers annually — giving fellows and job seekers direct access to hiring decision-makers. - **Experiential learning model**: Fellowships and employer-aligned training replace uncertainty with proof, translating directly into an 85% offer rate for participants. - **Scale with a digital layer**: Combines localized, in-person programming with scalable tools (Resume Engine, job board, virtual fairs) to serve military talent worldwide. - **Specialized spouse focus**: Dedicated programs (Career Accelerator, Amplify, spouse hiring events) targeting the 20% military spouse unemployment rate and the systemic mobility/licensing barriers most competitors ignore. ## Strategic Focus - **Scale digital reach**: Growing the centralized job board, Resume Engine, and virtual hiring infrastructure to meet the military community "wherever they are in the world." - **Expand employer-aligned training**: Scaling the Skilled Trades Academy into new locations and high-demand sectors like construction, manufacturing, and data centers. - **Serve military spouses at scale**: Building portable career pathways and addressing barriers like licensing and childcare that fuel military spouse unemployment and underemployment. - **Deepen employer partnerships**: Growing the network of ~2,000 annual employer collaborators to keep programming shaped by real industry demand. - **Broaden impact beyond placement**: Positioning fellowships and upskilling as the entry point to long-term careers, not just first jobs. ## Why Work Here - **Mission-driven environment**: Staff work at the intersection of workforce development and real impact — knowing their work converts into jobs, careers, and long-term stability for the military community. - **Hybrid flexibility**: Open roles currently posted are hybrid — including a Program Manager, Corporate Fellowship Program (based in Florida) and a Program Manager, Skilled Trades Academy (Fort Belvoir, VA), with a "closed until filled" rolling hiring model. - **Growth trajectory**: The team has grown nearly 10% year-over-year, with new programs and sites launching — offering opportunity for ownership and advancement. - **Military-connected culture**: A significant share of employees come from military backgrounds (talent sourced from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and USO), creating a mission-aligned, service-oriented workforce. - **Employee sentiment**: 3.9/5.0 employer rating from 24 reviews — culture rated 4.0/5.0 and career development 4.1/5.0 (compensation 3.7/5.0, work-life balance 3.4/5.0). Note: LinkedIn-listed open roles (e.g., security/cybersecurity engineering positions) appear inconsistent with HOH's official program-manager openings on its careers page; this may reflect third-party data misattribution. Candidates should verify against the official Lever careers page. - **Visible national brand**: A recognized U.S. Chamber Foundation program with a 576K+ LinkedIn following and strong employer recognition. ## Sources 1.
