And when your projects call for it, you’ll lead and mentor other members of our Engineering teams. In this role, you will… - Participate as a member of a project team comprised of Project Management, Buyers, Customer Service, and other cross-functional partners to successfully complete conveyor and material handling projects. - Own and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, including maintaining engineering schedules and budgets and tracking engineering change orders. - Lead conversations and drive results with vendors and other suppliers to review and evaluate system and equipment designs. - Review customer specifications to ensure requirements are incorporated throughout the design process. - Provide technical support throughout the engineering process. - Use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews, coordinate with external vendors, and obtain customer approvals. - Check drawings produced by others for accuracy. - Validate handshakes and data exchange between multiple automation solutions to ensure successful integration within the overall system design.
