The success of a great game depends on the work that surrounds it landing as truthfully as the game itself, and closing that gap is what this role exists to do. You make sure that what reaches players is authentic, aspirational, tells the story the game deserves, and delights the players who play it. The game in your remit is an unannounced project in the Crytek portfolio. The work focuses on shaping the project’s player promise from the inside out, defining the publishing narrative for its eventual reveal, and carrying its creative vision through to launch and into ongoing releases. You sit inside the game team, working shoulder-to-shoulder with game leadership every day. You partner directly with the Chief Publishing Officer and Brand & Marketing Director to support both the game and the business as one connected effort. You are the direct line between the game team and the publishing organization, the person who protects the north star on both ends, and the person both sides trust to tell them the truth. This role demands creative conviction, drive, and the kind of experience that only comes from working shoulder-to-shoulder with game teams. You will protect the team from noise so they can build the game, and you will give the publishing team the clarity, player insight, and creative truth they need to land it well. It is one of the most consequential seats at Crytek, and one of the most rewarding. ## What You'll Do - Be the custodian of the game’s creative vision, tone, and player promise, and translate it into work that publishing can execute with conviction - Sit embedded inside the game team and act as the daily bridge between game leadership and the publishing organisation - Serve as the source of truth on what the game is, what is coming next, and what it means for players, across Marketing, Comms, Community, and Commercial - Brief and review every major marketing, comms, and community output for creative authenticity, ensuring it tells the right player story - Partner with the Chief Publishing Officer and Brand & Marketing Director to shape go-to-market plans that serve the game and the business in equal measure - Drive franchise narrative, player promise, and creative direction across reveals, beats, and post-launch moments - Protect the game team from operational noise so they can focus on building, while translating publishing priorities into work the team can act on - Keep the north star intact on both ends, keeping publishing grounded in the game’s vision, and the game team grounded in player and market reality ## What You Bring - 8+ years working at the seam between game development and publishing or marketing, with significant time embedded inside game teams - Proven ability to translate creative vision into commercial activation without compromising either side, with strong creative judgement and editorial instinct you can defend under pressure - Fluency across business models (premium, live service, DLC, F2P) and multi-year roadmap strategy, and how the two shape the player promise - Cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence without authority across game and publishing teams - Strong player insight, audience segmentation, and community fluency - Drive and operating range, comfortable moving from creative critique in the morning to commercial trade-offs in the afternoon - Experience supporting or launching at least one major game or live-service title from inside the game team - Track record of being trusted by both game leadership and publishing leadership ## What you can expect from us Career Path Your professional development is important to us, so we have laid out a career plan to help you progress towards your goals and objectives.
