The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test case preparation, test execution, defect identification, and reporting. The candidate should possess good analytical and logical-thinking skills, a strong understanding of software testing concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other team members in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze functional requirements and understand application workflows. - Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements. - Perform manual and functional testing of web applications. - Execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration, and System Testing. - Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools. - Perform defect retesting and regression testing to ensure issues are resolved. - Validate application functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria. - Collaborate with developers to understand, reproduce, and resolve defects. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews. - Maintain test documentation and ensure adequate test coverage. - Support basic API testing and database validation wherever required. - Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
