## Job description

Avantium is een toonaangevend technologiebedrijf en een pionier in het ontwikkelen en commercialiseren van duurzame chemie. De meest geavanceerde technologie van Avantium is de YXY® planten-naar-plastic-technologie, die plantaardige suikers katalytisch omzet in FDCA - furaandicarbonzuur, wat de bouwsteen is voor het duurzame polymeer PEF - polyethyleen furanoaat. PEF is een 100% plantaardig, recyclebaar en afbreekbaar polymeer en heeft dankzij haar superieure eigenschappen een breed scala aan toepassingen waaronder verpakkingen, textiel en folies.

Avantium is in Delfzijl actief met een nieuwe fabriek - Flagship Plant - voor de productie van PEF.  Hiervoor is Avantium op zoek naar een ervaren QHSE-Officer.

De functie Als QHSE-officer speel je een belangrijke rol bij het verder ontwikkelen van QHSE en het verbeteren van ons managementsysteem. Daarnaast heb je regelmatig contact met onze collega's op het hoofdkantoor in Amsterdam en ook onze Pilot Plant in Geleen.

Enthousiasme, plezier en samenwerking maken onze Flagship Plant tot een "great place to work" en daar hebben wij jou bij nodig wanneer het gaat om veiliger (te) werken. Aangezien wij een nieuwe fabriek zijn, variëren onze werkzaamheden en tevens jouw agenda van dag tot dag.

We zoeken een pragmatische HVK-er met ervaring ruime ervaring - 5 jaar - binnen de chemische industrie.

Jouw taken zullen zijn onder meer zijn:

- Het gevraagd en ongevraagd advies geven over vraagstukken die daar spelen van de werkvloer tot beleidsmatig niveau;
- Het uitvoeren van incidentondezoeken;
- Uitvoeren en deelnemen aan risico analyses - RI&E, TRA, EVD, HAZOP, CHA, etc;
- Het geven van trainingen en toolboxen;
- Je bent de contactpersoon voor de bedrijfsbrandweer en veiligheidskundigen van het Chemiepark Delfzijl;
- Hoofd BHV, preventiemedewerker;
- Het is een pré als je ervaring hebt als Middelbaar Arbeidshygïenist.
