A top-rated Shopify Certified Technology Provider, eBay preferred fulfilment partner, and Amazon preferred multi-channel integrator, Easyship is the G2 category leader (April 2026), offering 550+ courier services worldwide. We believe in accelerating borderless commerce through innovative solutions, and we're proud that brands of all sizes from small business to enterprise trust Easyship for all their shipping needs. Who We're Looking For: We're looking for a quantitatively brilliant, commercially astute analyst to be the founder's "second brain" in data. You will sit at the centre of the business, see every data point that matters, and turn it into the insight that shapes decisions at the very top. This is not a reporting role, it is a thinking-partner role for someone who wants to understand how every part of the company works through its numbers, and to influence where it goes next. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founder: framing the questions that matter, building the models and queries to answer them, and translating messy, cross-functional data into sharp, commercial recommendations. Above all, we need someone with genuine business acumen — a person who understands how a company actually makes money and where its levers sit, and who reads the numbers as a story about the business rather than a spreadsheet. If you are equally at home understanding how the business works, writing complex SQL, prototyping with modern AI tooling, and explaining a P&L implication in plain English, this role is built for you. What you additionally need to know: This is a remote role reporting directly to the Founders. What would be you be responsible for: - Acting as the founder's analytical right hand — stress-testing ideas, pressure-checking assumptions, and bringing the data view to every important decision. - Building a single, connected picture of the business: understanding how each function's data (revenue, product, ops, marketing, finance) fits together and where the real levers are. - Writing clean, performant SQL to pull, join, and interrogate data across the company's systems — no question is off-limits and no dataset is someone else's problem. - Using modern AI tooling in your day-to-day — to accelerate analysis, prototype models, and surface patterns a spreadsheet would miss. - Turning analysis into commercial narrative: crisp memos, clear recommendations, and the "so what" that drives action. - Owning ad-hoc deep dives at short notice — sizing an opportunity, diagnosing a metric that moved, or modelling a scenario the founder needs before a board meeting. - Defining the success metrics that matter for every team in the company, and using them to manage the business by exception — partnering with the Data team on the underlying data, not owning it. You Might Be a Good Fit If... - You have ~3 years in a quantitative or analytical role, ideally including time spent directly supporting a founder or CEO — we index on proven ability in this kind of seat over years on paper. - You have genuinely strong SQL — comfortable with complex joins, window functions, and wrangling imperfect real-world data into something trustworthy. - You are hands-on with AI in practice — you already use LLMs and modern tooling to work faster and go deeper, and you're excited to push that further. - You are commercially astute — you instinctively connect the numbers to revenue, cost, and growth, not just to a chart. - You are a first-principles thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity and can turn a vague question into a structured answer. - You have high drive and ownership — you chase problems down without being asked and treat the whole business as your remit. - You are a clear communicator who can make a complex analysis land with a non-technical audience, including the founder. - You have experience in an established organisation, consulting, trading, or another data-intensive, fast-moving environment. - Bonus: Python (or similar) for analysis and lightweight modelling; exposure to building or fine-tuning models, or shipping AI-assisted internal tools; a track record of self-directed projects that show initiative. If you're excited about this role but don't meet every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. What we bring to the table as an employer: - Generous remuneration and stock units - We reimburse gym and wellness expenses so you can invest in your health - The freedom to ‘Work from Anywhere’ for 4 weeks in a year - Generous vacation policy, plus duvet days and mental health days to truly recharge How we value inclusion in our recruitment practices: Easyship is an equal opportunity employer. We make all employment decisions—recruiting, hiring, pay, benefits, training, promotion, leave, and separation—based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, disability, national or ethnic origin, veteran or military status, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law. ## About Easyship ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Easyship is a global multi-carrier shipping software platform that enables eCommerce businesses of all sizes to compare rates, print labels, automate fulfillment, and manage cross-border logistics with transparent tax and duty calculations. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A funded; now a profitable, high-growth scale-up) - **Headquarters**: New York, United States (with joint headquarters in London, UK and Hong Kong, and offices in Bangalore, Taipei, Singapore, Melbourne, and California) - **Founded**: 2014 - **Founders**: Tommaso Tamburnotti, Augustin Ceyrac, Paul Lugagne ## Core Business - Primary industry: eCommerce shipping and fulfillment software (Logistics Technology) - Target customers: B2B – from small businesses (10–10,000 parcels/month) to enterprise brands (10,000–1M+ monthly shipments), including crowdfunding creators - Mission or purpose statement: "Democratize shipping for all" – making global shipping accessible, transparent, and affordable for every online seller ## Products & Services - **Easyship No-Code App**: A drag-and-drop shipping dashboard for small to medium businesses that syncs orders from sales channels, compares courier rates, prints labels, and provides branded tracking – set up in 3–5 minutes. - **Easyship Shipping API**: An enterprise-grade API with 99.99% uptime for high-volume merchants to integrate shipping automation, rate shopping, and customs documentation directly into their own systems. - **Crowdfunding Fulfillment Solution**: A specialized suite for Kickstarter and Indiegogo creators, offering backer surveys, courier selection, warehousing, and shipping insurance. - **Multi-Carrier Rate Shopping**: Intelligent algorithm that automatically recommends the cheapest, fastest, or best-value shipping option from over 550 courier services (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, etc.) with exclusive discounted rates up to 91% off retail. - **Tax & Duties at Checkout**: Real-time calculation and display of import taxes and duties during checkout (first integrated on Shopify in 2017) to eliminate surprise fees for international buyers. - **Branded Tracking & Post-Purchase Updates**: Reduces "Where Is My Order?" inquiries by up to 63% with custom tracking pages and automated delivery notifications. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (last known funding: Series A, November 2018) - **Key Metric**: Annual revenue of $8.0M (LinkedIn estimate) and total funding from Series A (undisclosed amount) from notable investors - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Lazada, Lamivoie Capital Partners, Rubicon Venture Capital, One Way Ventures, Kima Ventures, Picus Capital.
