## ABOUT QUALITATE

Qualitate is building the AI-native primary intelligence platform for enterprises, investment firms, and asset managers. We automate the entire primary research workflow, from study design and expert recruitment through AI-moderated interviews and insight synthesis - replacing weeks of manual research with hours of high-signal output.

Expert research is a broken industry dominated by legacy incumbents with expensive, manual, and slow services. Investment and corporate strategy teams spend hundreds of hours coordinating intermediaries, scheduling expert calls, and synthesizing insights across fragmented providers. The process takes weeks to produce short-lived intelligence.

Qualitate transforms this workflow by autonomously conducting expert discussions at scale using AI. Qualitate’s AI Moderator interviews thousands of experts simultaneously each month, capturing forward-looking purchasing plans, competitive displacement, and real-time ROI signals. The platform turns these interviews into quantified, time-series outputs tracking over 10,000 public and private companies, queryable instantly in natural language. Our customers include some of the world’s largest enterprises, hedge funds, PE firms, credit investors, and venture capital firms.

## THE ROLE

The world's largest corporations and investment firms now want more research from us than we can produce - this role exists because that gap keeps widening. You'll start as a generalist by design. You'll rotate through each of our sectors - whichever space is hottest and whichever dataset is inflecting - you'll be the one writing on it for investors and corporate teams to inform them on their most important decisions.

You'll learn each sector from both the domain expert leading it and the thousands of transcripts sourced from premier operators in that space. Institutions pay for that data to get smart on a sector. You'll be analyzing it on day one. We’re hiring for analytical ability, writing quality, and speed of learning, not for sector experience. Over time, you'll build genuine depth, analytical rigor, and develop coverage of your own.

## WHAT THE DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE:

- Leverage the company’s proprietary datasets to build company and market analyses across our coverage - technology, healthcare, industrials, financial services, and consumer - working under a sector lead at first and increasingly carving out your own niche.
- Turn data collection studies into client-ready outputs: quantified findings, charts, scorecards, and written takeaways that drive value for investors and corporate clients.
- Develop forward-looking analyses and uncover industry dynamics, key growth drivers, and demand shifts in your assigned areas of coverage.
- Contribute thought leadership by creating high-impact content for our newsletter and client communications.
- Support and learn to lead client & prospect conversations through calls, webinars, and events.
- Contribute research judgement to hone the fidelity of our first-to-market research methodology; partner with product and engineering teams on design to continue the creation of our best-in-class.
- Grow into a coverage area of your own. We’ll help you find the space where your judgement compounds fastest.

## WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

- 1-3 years professional experience in data-driven research creation. Equity research, financial analysis, market research, and/or consulting roles. We are deliberately not screening on industry specialization, but expertise in enterprise technology, industrials, or healthcare is a plus.
- You understand the fundamental research workflow - how funds source ideas, build conviction through primary research, size positions, and manage risk - or you are eager to learn it quickly.
- Genuine curiosity across industries. You should find it energizing to work across a multitude of industries, and you should be able to get to a credible working knowledge of new areas quickly.
- You communicate your ideas clearly. Long-form and short-form writing expertise required - you must be able to synthesize data into digestible, forward-looking insights, and you should be comfortable presenting your work to investors and strategy clients.
- You experiment heavily with AI. You’re constantly testing and refining AI tools and agents as they ship, and build them into your daily workflows - automating pieces of your own job to drive higher productivity - and sharing learnings with your team.

## WHAT SETS YOU APART

- You learn and iterate quickly. For this role, this is the single most important thing. You’ll be working alongside accomplished professionals across research, product, and engineering. Pick up what they know and implement; impart what’s incremental onto them.
- A strong sense of ownership. This is not just a supporting seat. You’ll be handed more scope than your years of experience would suggest, and the expectation is that you take work from question to published output rather than waiting to be assigned the next step.
- An analytical mind. You get excited about diving into a large semi-structured dataset to understand key inflections and generate new ideas. Proficiency in managing/analyzing large data sets. SQL experience is strongly preferred.
- You use AI for both speed and rigor. You understand that AI can be used to both accelerate your initial learning in a space and help you go deeper than you otherwise could have - pressure-testing ideas, automating the analyses you never had time for, and expanding what one analyst can rigorously cover. For a generalist, this is the leverage that makes breadth possible without sacrificing depth.

## COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Base salary: $130k–$170k+
- Bonus: Variable dependent on achievement of goals at the company level, team level, and individual level
- Equity: Meaningful early-stage grant with upside tied to company growth
