This role partners closely with Finance working on the Risk Adjustment Coding Operations team, to build capacity planning models, determine headcount requirements, and plan for downtime, giving leadership clear, data-driven visibility into project health and resourcing needs. What You Will Do: - Build and maintain pacing trackers to monitor project progress, milestones, and timelines by vendor. - Develop multi-platform forecasting models to project volume, timelines, and resourcing needs across concurrent projects. - Partner closely with Finance to build capacity planning models, including headcount requirements and downtime/idle-time planning. - Design and maintain dashboards and reports (Excel, Sigma, or similar BI tools) that give leadership real-time visibility into project and vendor performance. - Identify trends, bottlenecks, and risks in vendor performance and project pacing, and recommend corrective action. - Support scenario planning and “what-if” modeling for staffing and capacity decisions. - Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, vendor management, and finance stakeholders to align on assumptions and outputs. - Continuously improve tracking methodologies and forecasting accuracy over time. - Analyze vendor throughput and capacity against forecasted volume, flagging variances early. - Maintain documentation of forecasting methodologies, data sources, and assumptions for auditability. - Present pacing, forecasting, and capacity findings to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. - Support headcount and staffing plan reviews in partnership with Finance and Operations leadership. - Monitor downtime and utilization trends, incorporating them into forecasting and staffing models. - Maintain data integrity across pacing, forecasting, and capacity planning tools and reports. - Assist in the development of standardized reporting templates across projects and vendors. - Support ad hoc analysis requests from Finance, Operations, and executive leadership. - Track project risk indicators and escalate concerns proactively. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to project tracking and forecasting. - Business related travel as needed (up to 10%). What You Need to Succeed: - Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of five years of equivalent experience in project analytics, business analytics, or a related analytical role. - Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial/operational modeling. - Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. - Demonstrated experience building forecasting and/or capacity planning models. - Experience partnering with Finance or FP&A teams on headcount and capacity modeling. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present findings to leadership. - Ability to work effectively in a remote, team environment. - Flexibility in work schedule to meet departmental needs. - Ability to analyze data to determine root causes of pacing, capacity, or forecasting variances. - Must be able to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently. - Working knowledge of the business use of computer hardware and software to ensure effectiveness, quality, and security of data. - Experience with risk adjustment methodologies preferred. - Healthcare industry experience preferred. - Formal project planning or project management experience/certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) preferred. - SQL or other data querying experience preferred.
