## Job description

sensmore is a Berlin/Potsdam-based robotics startup delivering production-proven automation for industries where the world’s raw materials are extracted, moved, and processed. Its automation system transforms heavy machines into intelligent, automated robots powered by Physical AI and vertically integrates them into the full production environment: from the machine and safety infrastructure to network infrastructure, site processes, and operational interfaces. Co-developed with customers, sensmore is backed by Point Nine Capital, leading industry investors, the State of Brandenburg, and the European Union. Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Robotics Engineer with expertise in AI to enhance our team. This role requires a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and refining AI-driven robotics systems that improve navigation and perception under challenging conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement AI algorithms for robotic systems to improve perception and navigation capabilities.
- Optimize and refine AI systems that leverage radar and other sensory technologies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate these AI systems into larger robotic solutions.
- Manage the full cycle of software development, from initial design through to implementation and ongoing maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in Python or C++.
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and robotics.
- Practical experience with robotic perception and image processing.
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Preferred Skills:

- Practical experience with 3D vision in robotic applications.
- Familiarity with multimodal machine learning models.
- Knowledge of outdoor SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) techniques.
- Experience with radar data or similar sensory inputs.
- Proven track record of publications or significant industry experience in deep learning and AI.
