## DEINE MISSION & HERAUSFORDERUNGEN

Du wirst Teil unseres AI Data Operations Teams und übernimmst die Verantwortung für den Integration Layer, der Roboter, Sensoren und Trainings-Pipelines innerhalb unserer NeuraGym-Umgebung miteinander verbindet. Du bist dafür verantwortlich, die Sensor-Netzwerk-Infrastruktur, Kommunikationsprotokolle sowie die Mechanismen zur Datensynchronisation und -fusion aufzubauen, die aus rohen multimodalen Roboterdaten zuverlässige, trainingsfertige Streams für Embodied AI machen.

- Roboter- & Sensorintegration: End-to-End-Integration von humanoiden und kollaborativen Robotern sowie einer Vielzahl von Sensoren in den Gym — von Verkabelungs- und Montagekonzepten über das Driver-Level Bring-up bis hin zu Kalibrierung und Runtime Health Monitoring.
- Sensor-Netzwerk-Infrastruktur: Design und Betrieb von High-Throughput-Sensornetzwerktopologien basierend auf VLAN-Segmentierung, QoS-Policies und deterministischem Uplink-Verhalten für zeitkritische Roboterdaten.
- Datensynchronisation & Zeitliche Ausrichtung: Entwicklung präziser Zeitsynchronisation (PTP/NTP, Hardware Trigger Lines) und cross-modaler Alignment-Strategien, um zeitlich konsistente Multi-Sensor-Episoden für Modelltraining und -evaluation sicherzustellen.
- Sensor Fusion: Design und Integration von Sensor-Fusion-Komponenten, die visuelle, inertiale und propriozeptive Streams zu kohärenten Szenen- und Robot-State-Repräsentationen kombinieren — als Grundlage für nachgelagerte Perception-, Annotations- und Policy-Learning-Prozesse.
- Diagnostik & Observability: Entwicklung von Diagnosetools, Dashboards und Health Checks für Sensor-Links, Zeitsynchronisationsqualität, Packet Loss und Stream-Integrität — für schnelles Troubleshooting während Recording-Sessions und langfristiges Reliability Tracking.
- Interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit AI-, Perception-, Robotik- und IT-Infrastruktur-Teams zur Definition von Integrationsanforderungen, Unterstützung von QA- und Annotation-Workflows, Mitwirkung an der Dokumentation sowie Unterstützung von CI/CD für Infrastruktur- und Sensorkomponenten.

## WAS DU MITBRINGST

- Exzellenter Master- oder PhD-Abschluss in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Robotik, Mechatronik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
- 4+ Jahre relevante Erfahrung in mindestens einem der Kernbereiche: Robotik-/Sensorintegration, Echtzeit-Networking, verteilte Datenerfassungssysteme oder Sensor Fusion
- Starke Programmierkenntnisse in Python und modernem C++
- Praktische Erfahrung mit Robotik-Middleware und Streaming-Frameworks wie ROS 2, DDS oder Zenoh
- Solide Grundlagen im Bereich Network Engineering
- Praktische Erfahrung mit Zeitsynchronisation (PTP/IEEE 1588, NTP, Hardware Triggering) und Multi-Sensor Time Alignment
