Position Summary We're looking for a driven, relationship-oriented Account Executive to own and grow UniCourt's presence across the Central US market. This territory includes some of the fastest-growing legal markets in the country, with significant opportunity across large law firms headquartered or operating in the region. You'll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline development through negotiation and close — selling UniCourt's API-first legal data platform to large law firms and enterprises. The ideal candidate has deep familiarity with the Central US legal landscape, existing relationships within large law, and a track record of selling enterprise B2B data or legal tech solutions. You're comfortable engaging C-Suite and innovation leaders, and you know how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals. This is a true hunter role. You'll be expected to build pipeline, develop territory strategy, and drive new business while collaborating closely with marketing, product, and customer success. Duties & Responsibilities - Own and execute a territory plan for the Central US, with a focus on large law firms across key metro areas such as Chicago, St. Louis, and Kansas City. - Prospect, qualify, and close new enterprise accounts within the territory. - Build and maintain relationships with C-Suite executives, knowledge management leaders, and innovation teams at target firms. - Employ a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and position UniCourt's data platform as a tailored solution. - Manage complex deal cycles involving implementation, integration, and data partners. - Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales leadership to refine messaging, share market intelligence, and inform go-to-market strategy. - Represent UniCourt at Central regional legal industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. - Stay current on competitive landscape, market trends, and developments in the Southeast legal market. - Drive individual sales targets while contributing to overall team objectives. Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Bachelor's degree required; JD or MBA preferred. - 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally selling data solutions, APIs, or legal technology to large law firms. - Demonstrated experience and existing relationships within the Southeast US legal market strongly preferred. - Experience selling to knowledge management, innovation, business intelligence, or information departments within large law. - Familiarity with structured data solutions including APIs, MDM, CDP, BI tools, and data analytics platforms. - Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder deal cycles with implementation or integration partners. - Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. - Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and the ability to operate independently within a remote team. - Willingness to travel regularly within the Central territory. ## Compensation Base salary range: $100,000–$150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a commission-eligible role, and on-target earnings will be discussed during the interview process. UniCourt is committed to transparent, equitable compensation practices and discusses compensation openly from the first conversation. ## Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, equity participation, and long-term growth opportunities within a fast-scaling legal technology company. ## EEO Statement UniCourt is an equal opportunity employer who welcomes and encourages diversity in the workplace.
