We combine on-site weather hardware with a software platform that automates alerts, siren activations, and safety decisions for more than 3,000 organizations — from the PGA of America, the NFL, and MLB to Turner Construction, thousands of school districts, cities, and golf courses. We've grown 80%+ annually for five consecutive years, and are continuing to grow. We're headquartered in Dallas at The Centrum, in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, where our teams work together every day to help organizations make faster and safer decisions when weather puts people, assets, and operations at risk. ## About the Role As a Senior Account Executive on our Emerging Markets team at Perry Weather, you'll drive growth by helping customers across a range of industries understand their weather exposure and adopt tools that improve safety and operations. You'll work closely with GTM, product, and marketing teams to uncover new opportunities, sharpen discovery, and help shape products that deliver real value in the field. ## Responsibilities - Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across a multi-vertical territory spanning energy, manufacturing, mining, industrial, transportation, professional sports, entertainment, aviation, and data centers. You'll have strong support from marketing - Develop territory plans that prioritize high-risk, high-value accounts where weather exposure drives real operational and safety cost - Run sharp discovery across a range of buyer types, from EHS and safety leaders to operations, loss prevention, and executive stakeholders - Build strong relationships with safety directors, operations leaders, and executive sponsors at target accounts - Hunt net-new business while identifying the significant expansion opportunities that exist within nearly every account you close - Attend industry events and trade shows, and travel on-site for larger deals where in-person presence moves the sale - Work with marketing on territory campaigns and with product teams to share feedback from the field ## Requirements - 3+ years of sales experience selling into operational or safety-driven buyers (energy, manufacturing, industrial, transportation, or similar B2B environments strongly preferred) - A track record of closing net-new business with complex operational buyers across multiple industries - Comfortable running discovery with EHS, operations, loss prevention, and executive stakeholders and building trust quickly - Willingness to travel for trade shows and planned on-site sales visits, particularly for larger deals - Strong territory planning, pipeline management, and deal strategy across a diverse account base - High personal accountability, strong communication skills, and confidence in leading customer conversations ## Benefits - You'll want to come into the office. Our Oak Lawn office isn't just a place to sit — it's where ideas move fast and culture stays strong. The whole team is here Monday through Friday, which means real collaboration, no chasing people down over Slack, and a genuinely fun place to spend your work days. - Your wellbeing is covered. Competitive health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and a full suite of voluntary benefits, because you shouldn't have to think twice about the basics. - Good people, good times. Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too. - You're getting in early, and that matters. We're growing fast, but the biggest opportunities are still ahead. The people joining now will help shape what Perry Weather becomes. ## About Perry Weather ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Perry Weather provides a weather safety platform that combines on‑site hardware and cloud‑based software to deliver real‑time monitoring and automated alerts for lightning, heat, wind, and other hazardous conditions. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series B) - **Headquarters**: Dallas, Texas, United States - **Founded**: 2013 - **Founders**: Colin Perry ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Weather technology, safety software, IoT hardware - **Target customers**: B2B – K‑12 / collegiate athletics, golf courses, parks & recreation departments, construction firms, energy companies, and airports. - **Mission or purpose**: Simplify weather safety, protect lives, enforce safety policies, and minimize operational disruption. ## Products & Services - **Weather Monitoring & Alerting System**: On‑site weather stations that measure lightning, WBGT (heat stress), wind, precipitation, and air quality; data updates every five minutes in a dashboard and mobile app. Automated alerts (SMS, push, outdoor sirens) are triggered by custom safety policies, with automatic all‑clears and lightning countdown timers. - **Policy‑Based Alerting**: Clients define rules for lightning, heat, wind, etc. Percy Weather enforces consistent notifications across the entire team, eliminating confusion. - **Historical Data & Reporting**: Site‑specific logs of weather delays and alerts support compliance verification, claims management, and operational planning. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed - **Total Funding**: USD $21.25 million (Series A of $6.25M in Oct 2022, Series B of $15M in Oct 2024, both led by Arthur Ventures) - **Key Metric**: Trusted by over 5,000 organizations; more than 200 million alerts sent. - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Arthur Ventures (lead investor); Official Weather Platform of The PGA of America; Korey Stringer Institute (Perry Weather Heat Lab). - **Growth Signals**: Employee headcount of 88 (+24.7% year‑over‑year); actively expanding into construction, energy, and airport markets; 7 open positions listed on LinkedIn (as of mid‑2026).
