Buyers get net‑60/90 terms with decisions powered by real‑time AI underwriting. - **SlopeScore**: A cash flow underwriting score that analyzes bank transaction data (income, rent, debt obligations) to provide a more inclusive credit assessment for lenders – deployed on platforms like Walmart, Alibaba, IKEA, and Samsung. - **Embedded Credit Lines**: Lines of credit for inventory purchasing at checkout; e.g., a new program for Amazon Sellers backed by a J.P. Morgan credit facility. - **Slope TransFormer**: A proprietary LLM trained specifically to understand the language of banks, used to improve underwriting and risk decisions. ## Market Standing - **Valuation / Market Cap**: Not publicly disclosed - **Key Metric**: Total funding ~$127 M (equity and debt combined, per CB Insights; another source cites $252 M including debt facilities). The team is small (~30 people) and values autonomy and personal growth. - **Remote / Hybrid**: Remote‑friendly for US‑based candidates; office in San Francisco (600 Harrison St). YC listing specifies “Remote (US) – any (new grads ok)”. - **Engineering / AI focus**: Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge AI (LLMs, underwriting models) with real‑world impact on millions of transactions. - **Notable perks**: Not explicitly listed, but role descriptions indicate competitive compensation (e.g., Senior Backend Engineer $95K‑$130K) and the chance to work with a high‑caliber team (ex‑Brex, Nauto, Dropbox, SoFi). - **Growth trajectory**: Fast‑growing startup with strong partnerships and J.P. Morgan support; employees can have outsized impact. ## Sources 1.
