You will strengthen the finance function through effective controls, scalable processes and a clear understanding of the story behind the figures. You will lead and develop the Accounting & Reporting team, partner with stakeholders across the organisation and ensure the financial implications of new business initiatives are appropriately captured and accounted for. ## What You’ll Do - Lead the month-end close to ensure accurate, timely and IFRS-compliant accounting. - Deliver timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, translating financial results into clear presentations for the Management Team, Executive Board and investors. - Ensure compliance with national and local legal, accounting and regulatory requirements, keeping track of existing and emerging legislation and policies. - Manage relationships with local accountants and external auditors to ensure compliance with local regulations and appropriate accounting. - Improve financial processes, reporting systems and internal controls to support efficient, accurate and timely reporting as the organisation grows. - Partner with internal stakeholders on cross-functional projects, ensuring the financial implications of new business initiatives are captured and appropriately accounted for. - Lead and develop the Accounting & Reporting team, building its capabilities in a continuously changing environment. ## What You’ll Bring - An academic degree in accounting and an RA, CPA or equivalent qualification. - At least 8 years of successful experience in financial control and accounting within an international company and/or a Big Four accountancy firm. - Strong knowledge of IFRS and the ability to apply it to accounting and reporting. - Strong leadership skills, with experience developing teams and strengthening the finance function in a changing environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with teams, management and other stakeholders. - A hands-on and flexible working style, with the ability to move between pragmatic execution and conceptual thinking while managing multiple projects and priorities. - Strong technical proficiency and proven ability to use automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and drive innovation. ## How We Work - Work closely with stakeholders within Finance and across teams such as HR and Tech on initiatives with cross-functional impact. - We take ownership and work independently while continuing to build and develop a high-performing team. - We adapt to evolving responsibilities as the organisation grows, taking on additional projects and priorities when needed. - We Combine hands-on execution with broader conceptual thinking to continuously improve finance processes and ways of working.
