## Job description

## Responsibilities

- Review purchase invoices, obtain the necessary approvals, and ensure proper filing in accordance with regulations
- Prepare journal entries for purchase invoices and employee expenses
- Manage accounts receivable (A/R) processes
- Review and approve journal entries for purchase invoices
- Prepare supplier payment lists and verify supplier balances prior to payment
- Cross-check sales invoices transferred from the payment system to the accounting system
- Prepare non-automated invoice lists, issue invoices manually, and ensure timely submission
- Review and approve journal entries for purchase and merchant invoices
- Manage and follow up on company insurance policies, including preparing and submitting reimbursement requests
- Perform e-invoice, e-archive, and e-ledger controls
- Set up Logo project distribution keys and perform related controls
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records
- Prepare tax declarations
- Act as the main point of contact during tax audits and manage related processes
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives

## Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Accounting / Finance
- Knowledge of Teknopark accounting practices is a plus
- SMMM certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Turkish Local GAAP and tax regulations
- Proficiency in Logo Tiger and SAP
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
