After becoming a leading player in a few markets in record time, we are looking to grow our engineering team and keep building the financial infrastructure for FX and cross-border payments in Africa.

## Role overview

You will join a small team of experienced engineers and contribute to a diverse range of customer-facing products, internal tools and financial systems. Your solutions will help grow and run a payment infrastructure that processes millions of euros of transactions per day.

## Key responsibilities

- Drive architectural decisions.
- Build production-grade APIs with Golang.
- Build API integrations with fintech partners.
- Apply best DevOps and SRE practices
- Perform rigorous testing.
- Leverage AI-driven development practices.
- Be in touch with stakeholders, founders and business realities.

## What we are looking for

- 6+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong experience working with SQL databases.
- Experience making architectural decisions and navigating trade-offs.
- Experience managing infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform or any other major cloud provider.
- Experience working within a high-pace scale-up team.
- Proficient with LLM-driven development.
