WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT SPORTS, SALES, AND WANT TO WIN We are looking for a talented and tenacious Senior Business Development Manager preferably based in Kuala Lumpur to drive significant business growth and develop new client relationships across the South-East Asia region. Operating in a fully remote capacity across multiple countries, you will be a key player in unlocking new commercial pipelines and introducing our next-generation sports tech platform - combining video, wearables, and analytics - to elite teams and sports scientists. We are on a mission to maximize athlete performance, and our BDMs match this ethos by taking complete ownership of their territory, hunting for new market opportunities, and excelling in a fast-paced environment with aggressive growth timelines ## WHAT YOU’LL DO - Develop and execute territory and account plans to meet and exceed all revenue targets. - Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders across customer accounts. - Prospect and acquire new clients (teams, leagues, federations, etc.); retain existing contracts and identify upsell opportunities. - Develop proposals, deliver product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts with key decision-makers. - Manage, collaborate with, and support referral partners and distributors. - Maintain CRM records in accordance with sales processes and produce accurate revenue forecasts. - Identify revenue blockers and communicate them clearly to leadership. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Product Support, Logistics, Finance, and Legal. - Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape, and develop strategies to win against key competitors. - Clearly articulate Catapult’s product and company value proposition, and represent the brand at public forums, conferences, trade shows, and events. ## WHAT YOU’LL NEED - 5+ years of business development and direct enterprise sales experience within the sports industry. - Demonstrated experience working with sports teams and organisations, including Football, Basketball, Rugby, and similar disciplines. - Proven track record managing large, strategic, or marquee accounts; prior experience in sports technology is strongly preferred. - Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close. - Experience designing and implementing business development strategies. - Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and drive results against targets. - Proficiency in English and Malay is required - Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is preferred WHY CATAPULT? - We have amazing people.
