## About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to join our Data team, to own and lead AutoDS's end-to-end data infrastructure and drive our evolution toward an AI-native data platform.

As the sole Data Engineer, you will manage our data pipelines, build AI-ready semantic and context layers, and develop AI agents to automate Data Engineering workflows.

## Key Responsibilities

- Data Engineering: Own and optimize data pipelines, ingestion, transformations, and infrastructure using Snowflake, dbt, and Rivery.
- Data Architecture: Build and maintain semantic and business context layers, ensuring structured, trustworthy, and AI-ready data.
- Data Governance: Establish data lineage, taxonomy, metadata management, documentation, and quality standards.
- Agentic AI: Design and deploy AI agents for pipeline monitoring, troubleshooting, data quality, documentation, and dbt development.
- Brain AI Integration: Enable analytics agents to discover, understand, and reliably consume company data.

## Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience with end-to-end pipeline ownership.
- Advanced dbt, Snowflake, SQL, and Python skills.
- Experience with semantic layers and data modeling
- Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic workflows.
- Strong data architecture, governance, and automation skills.
- Experience in a similar role within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of your domain's initiatives
- A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and best practices, and independently adapting them to the organization’s needs.
