You plan, launch, and optimize the campaigns that generate qualified leads and opportunities across our enterprise and mid-market go to market in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. This is a hands-on role for a marketer who thinks strategically. You take a pipeline target, decide how to reach it, and run the campaigns that get there. You hold yourself to the numbers: leads and opportunities generated, conversion by stage, cost per lead and per opportunity, and channel efficiency. Most of the work is digital. You also run the campaigns around our webinars, trade shows, and partner programs, from promotion to lead follow up. The main challenge is generating demand in a market that is changing fast. Buyers increasingly get their information from AI tools rather than the channels marketers have relied on, and gated content and volume downloads are losing their effect. This role needs the creativity to build demand where the old playbooks no longer work. You own the campaign function in an international marketing team. You work closely with the Head of Growth, who runs paid media, SEO, and web, and with marketing operations and nurture. You work with the AMER field marketing manager and the EMEA regional marketing team on campaigns for their events and partner programs, and with product marketing on messaging and assets. You also work with sales, SDR, and partner teams in every region. ## What you will be doing - Own the global campaign plan and calendar, translating pipeline targets into integrated campaigns across paid social, paid search, email, webinars, content syndication, and account-based marketing - Take each campaign from brief to launch: audience and targeting, offer, messaging with product marketing, landing pages and forms, promotion, lead routing, and reporting - Run campaigns for webinars, trade shows, field events, and partner programs, from promotion before the event to lead follow up after - Run the thought leadership and customer webinar program, from topic and speakers to registration, delivery, and follow up - Work with the Head of Growth on paid media strategy, spend allocation, and experimentation across LinkedIn, Google, and new channels - Build campaigns with marketing operations in HubSpot and Salesforce, and own campaign structure, naming, and attribution in Salesforce - Own weekly and monthly lead generation reporting to marketing and executive leadership: leads and opportunities against goal, conversion by stage, cost per lead and per opportunity, and spend by channel and region - Align with sales and SDR teams across regions on lead handoff, follow up, and pipeline acceleration - Manage campaign budgets and agencies, and prioritize spend against pipeline impact - Run experiments across audiences, offers, and channels to improve conversion and lower acquisition cost ## What you bring to the table - Ten years or more of experience in lead generation, demand generation, or digital marketing, running integrated campaigns end to end - International experience: you have run campaigns across several regions, ideally including the US, and understand how buyers and channels differ by market - Experience in B2B enterprise software, ideally in storage, data management, backup, or adjacent data infrastructure markets - A track record of campaigns that produced measurable pipeline, with the numbers to back it up - Hands-on experience with paid social and paid search, and with webinar and event campaigns - Strong command of HubSpot and Salesforce and of campaign analytics - The ability to shape a plan from a pipeline target while staying hands on in execution - The creativity to generate demand where buyers rely on AI over traditional channels and gated content no longer carries the funnel - Native or near-native English, written and spoken. You write campaign copy for US and international audiences - Comfort working with colleagues across time zones, with regular overlap with the US team in the afternoon Life at Scality - We offer careers with an opportunity to bridge international borders, an intensely fun environment with smart people. - We encourage promotion and elevation through training and development programs. - We care for our employees through company supported programs such as sports and wellness programs, social responsibility programs, and generous benefits packages. - We support team building and get together events across all of our locations around the world. - Life at Scality is exhilarating. Our internal motto is: work hard, play hard, eat well and amaze the customer! ## About Scality ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Scality builds software-defined data infrastructure for organizations that require massive scale, cyber resilience, and sovereign control over their data. - **Entity Type**: Private (profitable, independent, no IPO clock) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, USA (joint engineering hub with Paris, France) - **Founded**: 2009 - **Founders**: Jérôme Lecat, Giorgio Regni ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Data infrastructure software – object storage, cyber resilience, and autonomous data management. - **Target customers**: B2B, enterprise, government, banks, telcos, hospitals, broadcasters, and research institutions (1,000+ enterprises in production). - **Mission**: "Build the data infrastructure for organizations whose data can't fail." ## Products & Services - **[Scality RING](https://www.scality.com/products/ring)**: Core software-defined object storage platform with MultiScale Architecture – scales capacity, performance, and operations independently from petabyte to exabyte scale. - **[Scality ARTESCA](https://www.scality.com/products/artesca)**: Lightweight, cyber-resilient S3 object storage appliance for the modern stack, designed for simplicity and immutability. - **[Scality ADI](https://www.scality.com/products/adi)**: Autonomous Data Infrastructure – a new generation product that autonomously aligns storage media, performance, and protection to each stage of the data lifecycle, optimized for AI/ML workloads. - **[CORE5 Cyber Resilience](https://www.scality.com/core5)**: End-to-end five-layer defense framework (immutability via S3 Object Lock, encryption, zero-trust IAM, metadata separation, erasure coding, multi-site replication). ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (private company) - **Key Metric**: $45M annual revenue (LinkedIn estimate); $182M total funding across 8 rounds (LinkedIn) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Not explicitly listed in available sources – the company emphasizes its independence and lack of a "hyperscaler agenda." - **Growth Signals**: 185 employees (+14.7% YoY, +32 people); customers in 70+ countries; offices in San Francisco, Paris, Washington D.C., London, Tokyo; 1,000+ enterprises in production; new product launches (ARTESCA, ADI) in response to AI and cyber resilience demands. ## Competitive Advantages - **MultiScale Architecture**: Patented technology that allows independent scaling of capacity, performance, and operations without rearchitecting – a key differentiator for exabyte-level workloads. - **CORE5 Cyber Resilience**: Deep, layered security from the API down to the storage architecture, including SEC 17a-4 compliance and policy-driven immutability. - **Private, Profitable, Independent**: No pressure to chase short-term metrics or hyperscaler alignment; the company reinvests in long-term architecture and customer needs. - **Deep Engineering Expertise**: 17+ years of building storage software that must outlive hype cycles; engineering split between San Francisco and Paris since 2009. ## Strategic Focus - **AI Workloads**: Scality ADI is positioned as the data infrastructure for the AI era, removing replatforming overhead and integrating with modern AI toolchains. - **Cyber Resilience**: Continues to invest in the CORE5 framework as ransomware and sovereignty regulations become paramount. - **Data Sovereignty**: Helping customers comply with emerging data residency laws through on-premise and hybrid deployments. - **Scale & Performance**: Targeting multi-petabyte to exabyte deployments with TB/s throughput and billions of objects. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: "Go deep on the hard problems instead of around them"; emphasis on patents, multi-year architecture, and rewriting foundations when needed. Engineers work on infrastructure that must keep working when stakes are highest. - **Work Environment**: Engineering split between San Francisco and Paris (two main hubs); customer-facing teams in 5 offices across 3 continents. Mobility across offices "where the role allows." Hybrid/remote appears flexible based on role. - **Benefits**: Training stipend, foreign language classes, comprehensive health insurance, flexible spending accounts (US), mental health support, and mobility across offices. - **Growth & Stability**: Profitable, independent, and growing headcount (14.7% YoY).
