What you'll be working on: - Designing, testing, and validating electrical systems including power distribution, control circuits, and signal conditioning for our robotic factory - Selecting and integrating motors, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other electrical/electronic components to meet system requirements for reliability and performance - Creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs while establishing standards for electrical documentation and best practices - Troubleshooting electrical issues in factory and field deployments, working closely with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration - Scaling electrical systems from design to manufacturing and deployment You: - Have strong experience in electrical engineering with hands-on skills in power systems, control systems, and industrial automation - Can read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams, and are proficient with CAD tools for electrical design - Have experience specifying and integrating electrical components (motors, drives, sensors, relays, PLCs) and understand electrical codes and safety standards - Have worked in a fast-paced startup environment before, and loved it - Are excited to work with (and occasionally safely climb into) giant robots - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills - Are based in or can relocate to the SF Bay Area, and able to work 4-5 days/week from our San Leandro HQ - Gain satisfaction from personally playing a part in mitigating climate change - Are excited to see your work deployed onto actual solar farms!
