## About the Role

As a Sr. Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and handling the company financials and accountings to make sure the company is in compliance in all aspects. Moreover, you will play a critical role in helping the company grow to the next level by actively working with team members to provide information and insight. We would expect you to be proactive in initiating ideas that can help scale the company.

What You'll Do:

- Put scalable systems in place. Lead a team to build legit financial and accounting mechanisms and processes (either working with external parties or building an internal team) to ensure we are in compliance with GAAP, (U.S & Taiwan) tax laws, and related compliance requirements.
- Manage and handle all aspects of finance and accounting, including treasury management, cash flow management, petty cash, payables, receivables, reporting, and analysis, and work on audits when needed. Advice on how to better utilize cash-on-hand.
- Work on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) – budgets, projections etc. Discuss and work with key members to create management reports and metrics to help business strategy decision-making.
- Work with the team to handle payment requirements, including paying bills, sending invoices, reimbursing employee expenses, etc.
- Advise on the equity arrangements. Help with options plans, 409(a).

What We’re Looking For:

- Advanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US GAAP, bookkeeping and accounting best practices, tax laws, and related regulations in Taiwan and the U.S.
- Advanced knowledge in start-up ecosystems.
- Experience working in start-ups, venture funds, and building an accounting/finance team is a plus.
- You pay high attention to detail and accuracy, responsible and learn fast.
- You are familiar with AI tools effectively and cautiously to optimize the workflow and accelerate the result.
- Prefer working in a collaborative, creative, and fast-paced team.
