We’re building the financial and engagement platform for the next generation of homeowners - one that puts the homeowner at the center, and redefines what it means to feel at home. ## ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and scale the core user-facing experiences of the Made platform across web and mobile. You’ll own major features end-to-end, mentor junior engineers, and help establish best practices for frontend development. This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay hands-on while also stepping into a technical leadership position. ## WHAT YOU’LL DO - Feature Ownership: Lead the design, development, and delivery of core features across mobile (Flutter) and web (React/Next.js). - Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build intuitive, high-quality experiences. - Architecture & Standards: Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, coding standards, and reusable component libraries. - Performance & Quality: Ensure applications are performant, accessible, and reliable at scale. - Mentorship: Guide junior engineers through code reviews and best practices. - Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for technical and process improvements, bringing forward ideas to raise the bar. ## IDEAL BACKGROUND - 5–8+ years of frontend engineering experience, including senior-level responsibilities. - Proficiency with Flutter (Dart) for mobile and React/Next.js (or similar frameworks) for web applications. - Proven track record of owning and shipping high-quality, user-facing features. - Strong understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive design, and frontend performance. - Experience mentoring teammates and influencing engineering standards. - Comfortable collaborating across product, design, and backend teams.
