Our AI-driven systems enable robots to adapt, learn, and perform in the real world closing the skilled labor gap and transforming industries. We go beyond traditional methods, combining perception, reasoning, and control to deliver field-ready AI that is risk-aware, reliable, and continuously improving through real-world use. Big, hard problems are our everyday work, and our team of intelligent, humble, and driven people make the impossible possible together. We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to own the visual output of Path’s marketing: social graphics, one-pagers, slide decks, web and email assets, trade show materials, and print collateral. This is a senior individual contributor role, and we mean hands-on — you will be in the file every day producing the work yourself, not assigning it out and reviewing it. What makes it senior is the judgment you bring to that work: you take a thin brief, a spec sheet, or a wall of technical copy and decide what it should become, execute it cleanly within our established brand, and extend the brand where it does not yet cover a need. Our audience is manufacturing executives, defense primes, and shipbuilders, so the work has to be precise and credible rather than decorative, and a recurring challenge is layout under constraint: dense technical information, real specs, and charts that have to be accurate, made readable. You will work directly with the Head of Marketing, alongside our photo and video producer and external design partners, on a team small enough that your work ships within days and gets seen at real scale — trade show floors, defense conferences, and customer plants. We are hiring for craft first and we are open on level. If you bring the depth to steward Path’s brand and set creative direction across marketing, there is room in this role to take that on — but the person we hire will still be the one in the file every day. If your strengths include photo and video as much as design, look at our Photographer / Videographer and Creative Content Producer postings as well; we read every application against all three. ## What You’ll Do - Design one-pagers, spec sheets, case studies, and sales enablement materials. - Build and refine slide decks for sales, executive presentations, and conference keynotes. - Lay out longer-form pieces: whitepapers, reports, and printed handouts. - Create charts and simple data visualizations that stay accurate and on-brand. - Produce social graphics across LinkedIn and other channels, sized and adapted per platform. - Design email templates, web graphics, banners, and paid ad creative. - Adapt existing creative into multiple formats, aspect ratios, and sizes. - Design trade show graphics — booth panels, banners, signage, and handouts. - Prepare production-ready print files and coordinate proofs with vendors. - Set the visual direction on campaigns and launches, then execute it yourself end to end. - Own and evolve Path’s design system — build and maintain the reusable templates that keep the rest of the company on-brand without a designer in the loop. - Brief and art direct external design partners when volume calls for extra hands, and hold the quality bar on what comes back. - Bring recommendations to the Head of Marketing on what we should be making, not only how it should look. - Grow into brand stewardship and creative direction across marketing if you have the depth for it — this role scales with the person in it. - Keep design files and assets organized in the company drive. ## Who You Are - 5+ years of professional design experience in an in-house, agency, or established freelance practice — or equivalent demonstrated ability. We weigh the portfolio more heavily than the year count. - A senior designer who still wants to be the one making the work — you are looking for craft and ownership, not a management track. - Judgment to set your own direction from a thin brief, and to push back when a request won’t serve the audience. - Working command of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, plus Figma. - Comfort designing slide decks — in PowerPoint or Google Slides, not just as static mockups. - Ability to work quickly across many small requests without losing quality or consistency. - Care about typography, alignment, and hierarchy at the detail level. - Experience building or maintaining a brand system others work within. - Receptiveness to feedback and quick iteration cycles. - Familiarity with print production basics — bleeds, color profiles, and large-format specs — is a plus. - Motion or animated social asset experience (After Effects, Canva, or similar) is a plus. - Experience designing for technical, industrial, or B2B audiences is a plus. - Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar marketing platform is a plus. - Any exposure to manufacturing, robotics, or engineering environments is a plus. ## Why You’ll Love Working Here - Daily free lunch to keep you fueled and connected with the team - Flexible PTO so you can take the time you need, when you need it - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage - 6 weeks fully paid parental leave, plus an additional 6–8 weeks for birthing parents (12–14 weeks total) - 401(k) retirement plan through Empower - Generous employee referral bonuses—help us grow our team! ## Who We Are At Path Robotics, we love coming to work to solve interesting and tough challenges but also because our ideas are welcomed and valued. the company has a Board of Directors and leadership team including a Chief Revenue Officer (Heather Carroll) and EVP of Global Operations (Mike Renn). - **Growth Signals**: 198 employees as of March 2026; launched Path Foundry RaaS model in October 2024; launched JobBuilder at FABTECH 2024; announced Rove mobile welding system in April 2026; serves 4 key industries (Defense, Data Centers, Utility & Energy, Heavy Industry); addresses a forecasted 600k welder shortage by 2030. ## Competitive Advantages - **Perception-driven fit-up**: The core differentiator is the ability to recognize part geometry, compensate for dimensional variation, and execute a weld without precision fixturing — a capability traditional robotic welding lacks, which requires tight part consistency. - **Obsidian™ foundational AI model**: A purpose-built, first-of-its-kind AI model for welding trained on tens of millions of welded inches, enabling continuous learning and real-time adaptation. - **RaaS model (Path Foundry)**: Eliminates upfront CapEx for customers, lowering adoption barriers for mid-market fabricators who cannot justify six- or seven-figure capital commitments. - **End-to-end autonomy**: The system handles pick, fit-up, and weld in a single automated flow, with 24/7 mission control support, targeting 4x productivity improvement. ## Strategic Focus - **Scaling the RaaS model**: Path Foundry is the primary go-to-market strategy, requiring the company to manage fleet maintenance, logistics, service-level guarantees, and asset utilization across a distributed installed base. - **Expanding addressable geometry**: The Rove mobile platform announcement signals a push beyond fixed-cell applications into more varied and mobile welding environments. - **Defense and critical infrastructure**: The company is actively targeting defense (shipyards, arsenals), data center construction, and utility/energy sectors as key growth verticals. - **Reducing programming friction**: JobBuilder aims to lower the barrier to adoption for fabricators without specialized robotics staff, expanding the total addressable market. ## Why Work Here - **Impactful mission**: The company directly addresses a critical national problem — a forecasted 600,000 welder shortage by 2030 — by building technology that keeps American manufacturing competitive. - **Cutting-edge technology**: Work at the intersection of AI, machine learning, computer vision, and robotics, building a foundational AI model (Obsidian) trained on tens of millions of welded inches. - **Collaborative culture**: The company emphasizes "People + Robots Together" and states that "Our people are our competitive advantage," with a focus on creating real customer value. - **Growth trajectory**: With $271M in funding, 198 employees, and a pivot to a RaaS model, the company is in a high-growth phase with significant runway. - **Leadership**: Founded and led by brothers Andy Lonsberry (CEO) and Alex Lonsberry (CTO), who have scaled the company from a university basement to a leading physical-AI company. - **Work environment**: Based in Columbus, Ohio, with a focus on collaborative, passionate teams working on cutting-edge machine learning and impactful real-world problems.
