Works with any existing IP camera — no rip-and-replace required. - **Video Security**: AI-powered video monitoring with real-time alerts for weapons, falls, and PPE violations, plus natural language video search and "Deep Investigation" agents that autonomously generate reports across cameras and data. - **Access Control**: Integrates with 99% of existing access control infrastructure; enables tailgating detection, forced door alerts, and remote door control from anywhere. - **Guest Management**: Streamlined visitor check-in with ID-based background checks, pre-approved visitor lists, and real-time visitor movement tracking linked to video events. - **Emergency Management**: Built-in panic buttons, mobile triggers, and alert workflows; integrates with emergency services for coordinated response; compliant with Alyssa’s Law requirements. ## Market Standing - **Latest Funding**: $35 million Series B (announced June 2026), co-led by **Ansa Capital** and **Battery Ventures**, with participation from UP.Partners, 8VC, and Mosaic Ventures. - **Total Funding**: $66 million (Series A of $13.8 million in 2025, plus Series B). - **Revenue Growth**: 4x revenue jump and tripling of customer base since the Series A round. - **Customer Base**: Over 1,500 sites across the U.S. and Canada, including Fortune 500 companies, 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Hershey’s Ice Cream, World YMCA, Lakepointe Church, large school districts, healthcare providers, manufacturers, and municipalities. - **Team Size**: ~100 employees (as of mid-2026), with +128.8% YoY headcount growth. ## Competitive Advantages - **AI-First Architecture**: Founded by AI researchers from Lyft’s and Zoox’s autonomous driving divisions — Coram applies the same computer vision and AI that helps cars understand the physical world to physical security. - **No Rip-and-Replace**: Works with 99% of existing IP cameras and access control infrastructure, dramatically lowering deployment cost and friction. - **Unified Platform**: Consolidates video, access, visitors, and emergency response into one system — eliminating the need to stitch together separate tools. - **Deep Investigation Agents**: Autonomous AI agents that analyze video, access events, and visitor activity across cameras and time — reducing investigation times from hours/weeks to minutes. - **Strong Traction with Complex Verticals**: Proven in security-sensitive environments like schools, hospitals, manufacturing, churches, and government. ## Strategic Focus - **Sales Expansion**: Aggressively growing sales capacity to meet demand that is outpacing the team. - **AI Product Development**: Continued investment in AI research, including the new "Deep Investigation" autonomous agents. - **Customer Success**: Scaling the customer success organization to support rapid customer base growth. ## Why Work Here - **Cutting-Edge AI Work**: Engineering roles involve applying state-of-the-art computer vision, NLP, and autonomous agent technology to real-world physical security problems. - **High Growth Stage**: Series B, 4x revenue growth, 128% headcount growth YoY — employees join early in a hypergrowth trajectory. - **Open Positions (20 active)**: Roles across engineering (Infrastructure, AI, C++), product management, sales, marketing, growth, and strategic finance. - **Founding Team Pedigree**: Co-founders from Lyft’s autonomous driving division (acquired by Toyota/Woven) and Zoox — strong technical leadership and autonomy/AI expertise. - **Culture**: Described as an "AI-native" culture — the company is built by engineers and researchers who value automation, efficiency, and modern technology. - **Hybrid/Remote**: Based in Sunnyvale, CA; roles may offer hybrid or remote flexibility depending on position. - **Key Perks**: Opportunity to shape the physical security industry with AI, work on mission-critical safety technology used by schools and hospitals, and contribute to a platform that helps prevent incidents rather than just documenting them. ## Sources 1.
