Reporting to the leader of IT Engineering, you will work in a highly collaborative role mostly focused on the execution of assigned tasks relating to information technology security, infrastructure, and IT managed cloud solutions. This role will also serve as a Tier-3 escalation point for our internal Help Desk. This is a highly collaborative role, and communication skills are critical. This is a hybrid role that requires in-office presence at CMT’s Budapest, Hungary, office at least 3 days per week, or as the work demands. CMT is looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer to help us change the world. CMT has helped protect over 65 million drivers and prevent over 126,000 crashes worldwide. We build AI to solve some of the most difficult challenges in mobility — understanding and reducing risk, detecting crashes, and getting people life-saving help. The problems are hard. Responsibilities: - Using independent judgment, execute assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner - Collaborate with colleagues to implement and update IT processes and infrastructure - Design and implement solutions and controls that support adherence to CMT policy - Proactively investigate and remediate emerging vulnerabilities impacting endpoints and Saas tools - Apply established security frameworks to IT processes and infrastructure, ensuring configurations and workflows align with CMT policies - Understand security governance control and implement best practices in IT-controlled environments (SaaS, email security, IdP, etc.) - Collaborate with security stakeholders and other IT personnel on security-related projects - Perform regular security audits on IT systems with little to no supervision - Provide incident support when needed, which includes, but is not limited to, response, containment, remediation, and go-forward activities - Participate in tabletop exercises when needed - Respond to security detections, reviewing alerts for false positives or providing next steps for remediation - Advanced understanding of Datadog’s product and technology, including advanced queries and alert configuration - In-depth knowledge of Jamf’s Security Cloud offering - Research, recommend, and implement new technologies and features - Apply scripting and code development knowledge to identify security risks within code artifacts, scripts, and packages as needed - Collaborate with leadership in documenting and continuously improving IT security policies, procedures, and incident response processes - Complete any additional tasks as they arise Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in a related field - 4+ years of experience with macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Windows management in an enterprise environment in a security role - 4+ years of relevant working experience in IT Security - Understanding of common cloud provider ideologies - Excellent verbal and communication skills - Excellent written and spoken English skills Nice to Haves: - Practical experience executing security-centric tasks - Experience with, AWS management, Tableau, OneLogin, Sophos, and G-Suite preferred - CompTIA Security+ - Jamf 200+ Certification - (ISC)2 CISSP, CCSP, or SSCP Compensation and Benefits: - Fair and competitive salary based on skills and experience - Equity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) - Private healthcare - Life and disability insurance - Parental leave - Flexible scheduling and work from home policy depending on role and responsibilities Base Salary Range - The base salary range for this position is: 19,234,100 to 24,042,600 HUF.
