We provide robust IT solutions to our clients across multiple time zones and foster a collaborative, innovative, and diverse work environment. Strategic Growth Partners (SGP) is seeking a highly qualified Senior Manager, Client Delivery who will own the client relationships, opportunity architecture, and production pipeline for the Non-Traditional BD division. The role holds the account book, the standard of the work, and direction of the resources that produce it. Delivery is the growth engine. Everyday client work surfaces the signal that becomes pipeline, so this role sits deliberately at the intersection of the two, running the accounts, converting what those accounts surface into structured opportunities, and directing the production capacity that turns outlines into finished deliverables. This is a judgment and direction role, not a production role. The Senior Manager sets the standard, architects the response, and directs the resources doing the building. Leadership retains final review and close; everything upstream belongs here. Status: Remote, Full-time, exempt Reports to: President Division: Non-Traditional Business Development Directs the work of: Production analyst, technical writers, and assigned 1099 contractors Base compensation: $90,000 annually, plus standard benefits and bonus structure Key Responsibilities: Account Ownership - Serve as named account lead and primary client contact for an assigned book of accounts. - Run recurring client calls, set agendas, and own the relationship health of each account. - Ensure client updates and status reporting are delivered on schedule and to standard. - Keep client knowledge documented and transferable rather than personally held. Opportunity Architecture - Own use-case architecture across all division accounts, including those led by others. - Convert qualified, shredded opportunities into structured outlines and response approaches. - Make the pursue / no-pursue recommendation and define the shape of each response. - Act as the quality bar: approve structure before production begins. Resource Direction & Delivery Management - Direct the day-to-day work product of the production analyst, technical writers, and assigned 1099 contractors supporting the division. - Assign scopes, deliverables, and deadlines; review output against standard and return work for revision as needed. - Own the intake-to-delivery pipeline: shred review, architecture, drafting, packaging, and hand-off to final review. - Maintain the templates and format standards that keep production consistent across every account. - Monitor contractor utilization against approved scopes and budgets, and flag variances to the President. - Direct assigned contractors on work product, standards, and deliverable timing, contractors retain control over their own methods, schedules, and manner of performance. Pipeline & Business Development - Partner with the defense and civilian BD leads to qualify sourced opportunities. - Hold accountability for pipeline movement from sourcing through packaged response. - Support federal, state, and local pursuits across the division's client base. Review, Close, and Governance - Partner with the President on final review and close of client deliverables and pursuits. - Ensure every account operates on the division's standard process, coverage matrix, and RACI. - Maintain documented processes and named backup coverage so no account depends on one individual. First 90 Days Days 1–30 — Absorb and stabilize. Take handoff of the assigned account book, shadowing client calls before assuming lead. Document the cadence, contacts, and working process for each account. Days 31–60 — Stand up the pipeline. Establish the shred and status-sheet templates. Bring the production analyst to a reviewed-and-trusted standard. Move personal production work off the desk and into the production layer. Days 61–90 — Run it. Operate all assigned accounts on the standard process, own architecture across the division, and direct the full production and contractor pipeline. Ensure account continuity does not depend on any single person. Success Measures: - Accounts run on schedule with no lapse in updates, calls, or deliverables. - Shreds and drafts are produced by the production layer at a quality requiring minimal rework. - Use-case architecture is consistent and reusable across accounts. - Contractor output is delivered within approved scope and budget. - Documented processes and named backup coverage exist for every account. - Leadership time on delivery decreases measurably, concentrating at review and close. Qualifications: Required: - Demonstrated experience leading client relationships in government contracting. - Working knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement, including opportunity qualification and response development. - Proven ability to structure and architect written responses, use cases, and technical narratives. - Experience directing writers, analysts, and/or contract resources toward a defined quality standard. - Strong written communication; able to set the bar for client- and government-facing deliverables. Preferred: - Prior experience in non-traditional or emerging-technology business development. - Familiarity with distributed or offshore production support models. - Existing relationships within defense or federal civilian agencies. Working Model: Full-time, remote-friendly, with availability aligned to client call schedules. Coordination with offshore production support requires comfort with asynchronous hand-offs and clear written direction. SGP is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
