We design and operate AI-native cloud platforms engineered for sovereignty, performance, and scale. Our infrastructure powers GPU-native workloads, multi-tenant control planes, and high-performance AI systems designed for the most demanding environments. We are not building a generic cloud. We are building purpose-built AI infrastructure — from powered land, to compute, to software. As we scale, we're building this organisation from the ground up. We're looking for people who'd rather build the playbook than inherit one — who are comfortable doing the work themselves as well as directing others, and who can adapt as fast as our strategy does. This is a startup model: attitude and adaptability matter more to us than years of experience or the size of team you've previously managed. This is a cross-functional role requiring strong technical, commercial, and delivery capabilities, with exposure to executive stakeholders and EPCs, design consultants, OEMs, and every regional Project Director relying on one consistent design standard. ## What You'll Do You'll set and personally hold the line on Radiant's data center design standard for electrical, mechanical, civil and architectural design across every live project. In the early stages, you'll be doing a meaningful share of the engineering yourself, not just reviewing it. ## Key Responsibilities Design - Write and maintain the electrical, mechanical, civil and BIM design standards yourself - there isn't an existing standard to inherit. - Personally review and mark up design packages from consultants and contractors, not just sign them off. Hands-on delivery - Get into the detail on switchgear, cooling strategy (air and liquid) and structural design for GPU-density loads. - Sit in design workshops and RFI resolution directly with EPCs and consultants - you're expected to be in the room, not one step removed. - Write technical requirements and personally review technical responses from suppliers and contractors. ## Team build - Build out electrical, mechanical, civil and BIM leads as the portfolio grows - but expect to be the most senior technical resource on more than one project at a time in year one. What You Bring: - Attitude matters more to us here than number of years of experience. - Strong hands-on design experience in electrical or mechanical engineering for data centres or similarly complex mission-critical facilities. - Comfort producing or heavily marking up design output yourself, not just directing others who do. - Working knowledge of high-density GPU cooling (air and liquid) and power distribution/redundancy topologies. - Ability to set a standard from a blank page - you won't be handed one. - Confidence pushing back on consultants and EPCs directly on technical substance. - We care much more about how you think through a design problem than the number of years on your CV. - Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline). Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): - Experience designing for both European and US markets and codes. - Exposure to liquid cooling (DLC/CDU) design. - Chartered engineer status or equivalent, though not required. Qualities we look for: - Set the standard: Every single day, you spot opportunities to constructively shake things up. - Inspire the change: There's no blueprint for the future. You'll embrace challenges and change. - You're real and you're true to yourself: We cherish and celebrate diversity so you'll feel right at home whoever you are and whoever you're talking to, you treat everyone the same. - Get stuck in: You'd rather be building than overseeing. Our strategy will keep evolving, and so will you — attitude and adaptability matter more to us than a fixed playbook or a big team behind you. ## About Radiant ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Radiant is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company that builds and operates AI factories combining utility-scale powered land, long-term capital, and a proprietary software platform. - **Entity Type**: Private (portfolio company of Brookfield’s AI Infrastructure Fund) - **Headquarters**: London, United Kingdom - **Founded**: 2026 (formed via merger of Brookfield’s Radiant entity with Ori Industries) - **Founders**: Mahdi Yahya (Founder & former CEO of Ori, now President of Radiant) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: AI Infrastructure / Cloud Computing / Data Centers - **Target customers**: Sovereign governments, large enterprises, telecommunications providers (B2B, Enterprise, Sovereign) - **Mission or purpose statement**: “Building the utility model for AI compute — ubiquitous, always on and offering superior economics.
