We are pioneers of the whole body deodorant category, with a portfolio of odor-blocking products including anti-perspirants, aluminum-free deodorants, body washes, body creams, cleansing bars and laundry sprays. Lume products are OB/GYN developed, made with skin-safe ingredients that are gentle enough for the most sensitive parts and often referred to as “life-changing” by our customers. In late 2022, we launched a men’s line called Mando, bringing our expertise to the men’s personal care category. From whole body deodorants to body washes, our product offerings arm men with the confidence to show up as their best selves as they move about their busy day. Lume and Mando are part of Mammoth Brands, the modern CPG company behind category-leading brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie. Driven by a mission to “Create Things People Like More,”  the company is creating a new model—and home—for brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives and ultimately change the status quo. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. Mammoth Brands is committed to making a positive impact and donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date. We build brands that move fast and think big — and we hire people who are curious about AI, willing to experiment with it in their day-to-day work, and excited to accelerate what's possible. We prioritize giving our team the tools, training, and space to build real fluency, so you grow alongside the technology and help shape how we use it. ## About the Team The Centralized Insights & Analytics (CIA) team is a critical function that drives proactive insights to action across the business. CIA unites capabilities across data science, analytics, insights, demand planning, and category management into an integrated function - solving both the everyday decisions and the complex business questions that shape our strategy. Capabilities built by this team meaningfully impact the business through channel strategy, assortment and selling stories, marketing optimization, thought leadership, innovation, and the overall consumer and shopper experience. This role sits within Omnichannel Analytics, the CIA function covering DTC, Amazon, and Retail. ## About the Role The Retail Analytics Sr. Manager, Walmart is the analytics owner for one of our largest retail customers. This is a senior individual contributor role - with your impact coming from analytical depth on the account, the quality of your thinking, and your ability to influence and shape our strategy across Sales, Brand, Digital, and our external Walmart partners. You will own the Walmart analytics and insights roadmap end-to-end: the recurring reporting that keeps the business honest, the strategic analyses that unlock growth, and the data partnerships that make both possible - bridging retail (syndicated/POS) performance with Walmart's fast-growing digital and marketplace business (WMT.com, 3P Marketplace, retail media) to tell one connected, omnichannel Walmart story. You will also serve as the internal expert on our Walmart data capabilities and own the Scintilla vendor relationship on behalf of the company. For this role we are seeking someone with a passion for storytelling through data who asks "what else can we do?" - a natural collaborator with a continuous improvement mindset who enjoys bringing others along. Your Core Responsibilities: - Provide the primary customer and internal analytic support for our Walmart business across personal care categories, inclusive of category, market, shopper, and assortment, and digital/marketplace performance analysis - Develop and own the Walmart analytics and insights roadmap and vision to support channel strategy, and be the go-to for ad hoc retail reporting and analysis - Bridge retail and digital into one omnichannel read. Connect POS/syndicated performance with WMT.com and 3P Marketplace - reading digital penetration against store trend, distribution (store count/%ACV), and channel mix (STH vs. Pickup) to tell whether digital growth is incremental or just store demand shifting online. - Serve as the analytics bridge between Walmart's retail and digital businesses, connecting brick-and-mortar performance with WMT.com, Marketplace (3P), and retail media metrics to build one cohesive, omnichannel view of the Walmart business as Walmart's digital business scales rapidly - Own the Scintilla contract and relationship: scope capability needs, manage the commercial relationship, and partner with Omnichannel Analytics leadership on budgeting and contracting decisions for Walmart-specific data capabilities - Serve as the internal expert on Scintilla, driving adoption and depth of usage across Brand and Sales so the capability is fully leveraged, not just licensed - Serve as the sales managers' most collaborative and strategic thought partner - they walk away from each interaction knowing that the work, decision, and tactic got stronger because of Retail Analytics input - Be an "always-on storyteller" - interpret the data, identify the "so what" and the "why" behind the headlines, build compelling data-driven presentations, diagnose impact to channel P&L, across both retail and digital, and drive action through weekly and monthly scorecards - Independently lead high-impact strategic analyses that uncover new revenue opportunities, drawing on category trends, competitive dynamics, shopper behaviors, and purchase drivers, and digital/marketplace performance trends - Own the omni-channel, SKU-level scorecard,  blending Scintilla (organic + omni) and Walmart Connect/Skai (paid) performance, and use it to hold retail media partners accountable to sub-category and item-level insights - Serve as a Retail & CPG leader and data expert to peers, cross-functional teams, and external partners - Build sustainability and efficiency through repeatable processes, tools, and ways of working - and proactively find opportunities to scale what works at Walmart across other channels - Contribute to the team's shared analytical toolkit, including our use of AI and automation to maximize our team’s impact - Mentor and coach analysts across the Retail Analytics team, raising the bar on analytical rigor and storytelling - Create and maintain best-in-class cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners through understanding interdependencies, proactive communication, and project management Experience and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years in an analytical and strategic data-driven role. Experience in CPG and/or Retail is a plus - Experience with syndicated data (Circana / Nielsen) is a necessity; experience with Walmart Scintilla Charter and Walmart's digital/marketplace ecosystem (WMT.com, 3P Marketplace, WMC) is strongly preferred - Passion to work with data and the ability to synthesize complex data from various sources - eager to proactively identify and execute against the analytical needs of the business - Fluency in core digital-shelf and retail-media metrics is a necessity, with direct Scintilla digital landscape and paid/organic funnel experience preferred (e.g., glance views, sessions, CVR, CTR, ROAS, TACoS, and NTB) - Excellent communicator and storyteller with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills - Takes ownership and responsibility for the work and desires to be seen as a proactive analytics leader and problem solver, not just a report generator - Insatiably curious and always looking to learn something new, seeking to improve yourself, your team, and the world around you - Professional and enthusiastic teammate with a passion to work collaboratively across teams and aim for results - Proficient in Microsoft Office Business Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel, and Google Workspace; comfort with modern BI tooling (Omni/Looker or similar) preferred Who You'll Work With: - You will report to the Senior Director, Omnichannel Analytics within Centralized Insights & Analytics (CIA) - Internally: You work closely with the Mammoth Care Retail Sales team, Category Analytics, Insights, Demand Planning, BI Enablement, and the Harry's, Flamingo, Lume & Mando Brand teams - Externally: Walmart merchant partners and our data partners, including Circana, Scintilla and WMC ## Benefits and perks - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401k match - Equity in Mammoth Brands - Flexible time off and working hours - L&D stipend - 4 weeks sabbatical after 5 years, 6 weeks after 10 years, and 8 weeks after 15 years - 20 fully paid weeks off for parents who give birth, or 16 fully paid weeks off for all other paths to parenthood - Fun IRL and virtual events including happy hours, team building events, and parties on our rooftop - Free products from our family of brands The Mammoth Brands' working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Our beautiful [70,000 square foot SoHo office](https://www.wallpaper.com/lifestyle/shaving-brand-harrys-new-york-city-office-design) is decked out with bagels on Wednesdays and lunch on Thursdays, and fully stocked kitchens with snacks, coffee, and drinks everyday.  Can’t forget the free products and the opportunity to have some meetings without Zoom! We can’t quantify all of the intangible things we think you’ll love about working at Mammoth Brands, like the exciting challenges we tackle, the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of [benefits](https://www.harrys.com/en/us/careers) and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $118,000-$150,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
