Our integrated motor drives deliver 12+ kW/kg, roughly 3x the power density of competing solutions. We're now scaling to megawatt-class systems, with customers working on everything from supersonic aircraft to turbine power generation for AI datacenters. Our team brings together engineers and operators from aerospace, defense, and motorsports, with deep expertise in electric machines, power electronics, material science, and advanced manufacturing. We're a small, fast-moving team doing hard engineering that matters, and we're looking for people who want to do the best work of their careers alongside us. ## About the role Our team at H3X looking for a Sr. Procurement Specialist to execute day-to-day purchasing as we scale our manufacturing and introduce multiple new products. You will place and manage POs with approved suppliers, keep our supplier data current and reliable, and work on forecasting and supplier performance. This role is a great fit for someone who's detail-oriented, proactive by nature, and wants to grow into a broader supply chain or category management career as the function matures. You are a strong fit if you've worked in procurement or buying for a complex, low/mid-volume manufacturer, you take ownership of accuracy and follow-through, and you like the idea of helping shape processes (forecasting models, category management, supplier KPIs) rather than just executing against them. What you will do: Purchasing Execution - Place POs with approved suppliers for needed parts, maintaining a proactive rather than reactive posture on lead times and material availability - Own the overall accuracy and reliability of PO data, quantities, pricing, dates, and terms - Track deliveries against POs and follow up with suppliers to keep orders on schedule Supplier Management - Maintain and continuously update the supplier database, including onboarding new suppliers - Ensure supplier certifications and NDAs are current and properly tracked - Assist in maintaining supplier relationships & partnerships - Actively participate in building out a Supplier KPI database to track and improve supplier performance Planning & Forecasting - Develop forecasting models together for distribution to key suppliers - Support long-term planning efforts by keeping PO and supplier data organized and accessible - Flag supply risks - Coordinate with other team members across manufacturing engineering, production, and others Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Leadership to support cash flow planning based on PO data and timing - Contribute to the development of category management as the supply chain function matures (e.g., Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, and other key commodity areas) - Partner with engineering, production, and inventory teams as needed to keep purchasing aligned with real-time needs Reporting - Provide monthly reporting on purchasing activity, supplier performance, and open risks What we are looking for: - 5+ years of experience in buying, procurement, or purchasing, ideally in complex mechanical, electromechanical, or electronics manufacturing - Strong attention to detail and a track record of maintaining accurate, reliable purchasing data - Experience managing supplier relationships and tracking supplier documentation (certifications, NDAs, etc.) - Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems for PO issuance and tracking - Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with finance, engineering, and operations - A proactive mindset, comfortable flagging risk early rather than waiting for it to become urgent ## Preferred Experience - Experience with Manufacturo or similar ERP/MRP platforms - Exposure to forecasting or demand planning processes - Familiarity with electronics or electromechanical component categories (e.g., power electronics, electromagnetics) ## Compensation & Benefits - Salary Compensation Range: $88,000 - $120,000 ## Why H3X Joining H3X means working on hard, meaningful problems with a skunkworks-style team that's laser-focused on building exceptional products. We're deeply vertically integrated and have a very tight design-build-test loop, which lets us move from concept to hardware at unmatched speed. We've gone from idea to shipping product in less than two months. We're a small, highly skilled team where everyone carries real responsibility and shares an extreme ownership mentality. We stay focused on the critical path, keep bureaucracy to a minimum, and structure everything around delivering results. You'll learn and grow faster here than you would anywhere else. You'll work alongside world-class engineers and builders who are pioneering electric motor technology at scale on some of the coolest programs in the industry, from supersonic aircraft to power generation for AI datacenters. If you want your contributions to be visible and your work to directly shape American reindustrialization, you'll feel at home here. Our team provides robust benefits including medical, vision, dental, disability, & life insurance offerings, employee equity incentive program, & 401k program. Additional benefits include our gym membership stipend and outdoor recreation reimbursement program. We have an execution based culture, with flexible hours, flexible time off, 12 company holidays (including our company ski trip), monthly company events, and weekly catered team lunch on Fridays. ## Our Values Be Relentless Never give up, persevere until the job is done. Run toward problems, not away from them. Grit is key. Gain insight through humility Approach every challenge with a learner’s mindset. Stay open to feedback, listen to others, and deepen your understanding through self-awareness. Put your ego aside and seek the truth in every discussion, especially when leading others. Distill & Simplify Eliminate unjustified complexity and simplify wherever possible, whether in requirements, design, or execution. Use first principles thinking to distill every problem to its essence. Less is more. Find your flow Engage fully and work with intention. Find the rhythm and deep focus that lets you do your best work. Discover your Ikigai - where your strengths, passions, and purpose meet and drive your personal fulfillment and team success. That is when the magic happens. SEND (Solve, Evolve, Nail It, Deliver) Devise the best solution with the information at hand, test it, learn from it, and iterate quickly until you nail it. Nothing works perfectly the first time, but you should never hit the same issue twice. Stay laser-focused on solving customer problems and delivering solutions that create real value. ## Equal Opportunity Employer H3X is an equal opportunity-affirmative action employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment based on business needs, job requirements and individual qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, past or present military service or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where we operate. ## About H3X Technologies ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: H3X Technologies develops the world’s most power-dense integrated motor drives (IMDs) for aerospace, defense, marine, and heavy industry. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: Louisville, Colorado, United States - **Founded**: 2020 - **Founders**: Jason Sylvestre (CEO), Max Liben (CTO), Eric Maciolek (President & Co-Founder) ## Core Business - **Primary industries**: Aerospace, Defense, Marine, Heavy Industry - **Target customers**: B2B – OEMs in electric aviation, defense contractors, shipbuilders, and industrial equipment manufacturers - **Mission**: Become the world’s leading supplier of advanced electric motors by 2030 to enable commercial electric aviation, bolster national security, and decarbonize the marine and industrial sectors. ## Products & Services - **Integrated Motor Drives (IMDs)**: High power-density electric motors with co-optimized integrated inverters.
