We are building the AI operating system for North America’s best insurance agencies and brokerages. For the first time ever, we have the technology to fundamentally change how insurance operates, and the stakes are human. Better insurance means families protected from harm, businesses able to take risks, and communities more resilient when the worst happens. For insurance practitioners, the ability to deliver this level of service finally becomes possible. ## What we do Quandri brings deeply specific, vertically-focused AI to the industry’s most critical stakeholders:insurance agencies and brokerages. Agents are the lifeblood of the industry, the place where most property and casualty insurance is sold and serviced. Yet operating an agency is harder than ever. Peak product complexity, accelerating consolidation, a deepening talent crisis, and the AI revolution are all reshaping how agencies work. Quandri sits at the cutting edge of this shift, rebuilding how agencies operate one workflow at a time. We pair a deep understanding of insurance processes, systems, and data with serious technical capability and proprietary models, so the transformation is tangible and operational rather than aspirational. We’re making insurance better for policyholders, while helping insurance brokerages deliver a better client service, grow faster, and harness AI so that they control the future of insurance distribution. Why join us? You'll join a fast-moving team with real ownership, direct access to leadership, and a genuine hand in shaping the company's next chapter. We are headquartered in beautiful Vancouver, BC, backed by leading US and Canadian investors, and the recognition has followed: LinkedIn’s Top Canadian Startups in 2024 & 2025 Deloitte’s Fast 50 CB Insights’ Insurtech 50 and Fintech 100 The Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies in Canada. About the Role: Canadian brokerages have been with Quandri from the start, and are a core part of our business. We're doubling down on Canada and hiring a Product Manager to lead it. Think of this role as the CEO of Quandri Canada from a product perspective. You’ll own the Canadian market across our entire product portfolio, including Quoting, Analyze, Intelligence and our shared platform. You’ll be accountable for understanding what Canadian customers need, deciding where we invest, and showing the return on that investment. You’ll deliver through our existing product and engineering teams rather than a dedicated team, so your ability to build a compelling case and influence without authority will be key. This is a rare chance to own a market, with a high level of scope and impact. What you’ll do: Own the success of the Canadian market across Quandri’s product portfolio, including the return on what we invest in Canada. Meet our Canadian customers to understand the state of the market, their workflows, and where our product falls short. Build and own our investment strategy in the Canadian market: the most important unmet needs, a prioritized set of investments, and the resources and outcomes tied to each. Make the case for your priorities: present and justify your approach to leadership stakeholders. Partner with the wider Product Management team and engineering leads across our products, coordinating dependencies and following through on delivery. Find and deliver quick wins, make sure Canadian customers know about the value Quandri already delivers for them. The right person for this role will have: 6+ years of experience, with significant time in product management. Business-focused and technical backgrounds are both welcome. A business-outcomes mindset. You think in terms of ROI, revenue and customer impact, not just features shipped, and you see the bigger picture of the business. Exceptionally high ownership. You act like the CEO of your product, take responsibility for its success or failure, and find a way to make it work. Comfort with a high degree of ambiguity. You can define the problem as well as solve them. A proven ability to influence without authority and to sell your ideas, building a compelling case for leadership and cross-functional partners. Experience working directly with customers and turning what you learn into a prioritized, justified plan. Strong commercial and analytical skills, including comfort building and owning a P&L or investment model. Bonus points if you have: A background in business development, management consulting or another commercial role before moving into product. PM experience at an early-stage startup. Experience owning a market, region or P&L, or a GM-style scope. Familiarity with the Canadian P&C insurance industry, insurance brokerages or insurtech. Experience with B2B SaaS or AI products. Our guiding principles: Customers at the core. We put the customer at the center of all we do. At a basic level, we believe business success comes down to talking to customers and building something they want. We don’t listen to customers and just take what they say blindly, but we think critically about it and build what they need. Customers are the core of everything we do, and our business exists to serve them. We prioritize their needs over all else within the company. Move with urgency. There are times when we need to move slowly and deliberately, but we default to acting fast and with urgency. We slow down when necessary, but this should be a deliberate choice. Businesses become more lethargic as they grow, this principle is designed to fight this fact. Be curious. We understand the world by being curious and asking why. We aren’t satisfied with surface level understanding, and seek a deeper understanding of why things are the way they are. Don’t take someone’s word for it or the answer “because that’s how we do it.” Understand why and dig deep. Excellence in execution. We know that what separates good from great is a high level of execution. We commit ourselves to excellence in everything that we do, from delivering an amazing product to writing a great email. Act like an owner.  We’re all owners of the business and act like it. We follow through on commitments, own our results and think long-term. Fight for simplicity. The law of increasing functional information states that systems evolve to become more complex over time. At Quandri, we believe there is sophistication in simplicity; as such, we intentionally fight for streamlined solutions and are committed to the uncomplicated. AI-first. We believe AI is a fundamental shift in how work gets done, not just a tool we occasionally reach for. At Quandri, we lead with AI, in how we build our product, how we run our operations, and how we think about every process and workflow. This isn't about replacing people; it's about unlocking them to do higher-value work. Compensation and Benefits: The range for base pay is $150k - $200k CAD, most hires land around the midpoint of the range, while candidates with standout experience may land closer to the top. Employee stock options, granted based off experience level upon hire and subject to a standard vesting schedule Employee stock options based on experience level Comprehensive health benefits, including $500 Lifestyle Spending Account Four weeks of paid vacation per year Work anywhere in the world for 60 calendar days of the year Parental leave top-ups: 6 months for birthing parents, 8 weeks for non-birthing parents (up to $100,000 annual salary) Quandri is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Don’t let imposter syndrome stop you from applying. Great people sometimes don’t have the “right” experience. If you think that you’ll be amazing at this role then we encourage you to apply. ## About Quandri ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Quandri builds an AI-powered Renewal Intelligence Platform that automates the repetitive parts of personal lines insurance renewals — policy analysis, requoting, and client outreach — so brokerages can scale without adding headcount. - **Entity Type**: Private (venture-backed startup; ~CAD $30M / USD $30.8M total funding) - **Headquarters**: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (Gastown office at 55 E Cordova) - **Founded**: 2020 per the company's own story page, but 2021 per LinkedIn/data providers — conflicting reports - **Founders**: Brothers Jackson Fregeau (Co-Founder & CEO) and Jamieson Fregeau (Co-Founder & President) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: InsurTech / AI-powered insurance automation (software development for the insurance vertical) - **Target customers**: B2B — independent property & casualty (P&C) insurance brokerages across North America, particularly those writing personal lines - **Mission/purpose**: "Unlock the world's insurance data so brokerages can better serve their clients." [quandri.io](https://www.quandri.io/us/working-at-quandri) ## Products & Services - **[Renewal Intelligence Platform]**: A SaaS platform that automates the most time-consuming parts of the insurance renewal workflow: (1) policy analysis to surface key insights and coverage gaps, (2) automatic requoting of high-risk policies and finalization of the most competitive options within carrier portals, and (3) generation of personalized renewal emails tailored to each client's coverage. This lets brokers manage up to 10x more policies without adding headcount. [linkedin.com](https://linkedin.com/company/quandri) [quandri.io](https://www.quandri.io/) ## Competitive Advantages - **Insurance-native AI**: Built specifically for personal lines renewals, not generic RPA or CRM automation — it understands policy data, carrier portals, and broker workflows. - **End-to-end renewal automation**: Covers insight discovery, requoting, and client communication in one platform, where competitors typically address only a single step. - **Outcome-driven model**: Positions itself as a capacity multiplier — enabling brokerages to handle 10x more policies and proactively serve 100% of their book of business, not just large accounts. [quandri.io](https://www.quandri.io/) - **Data flywheel**: Every policy processed feeds the "renewal intelligence" dataset, making the platform smarter and stickier over time. ## Strategic Focus - **Scale across North America**: Expanding from its Vancouver base with growing US presence; hiring a Director of Partnerships and Biz Ops Lead signals commercial expansion. [linkedin.com](https://linkedin.com/company/quandri) - **Deepen engineering & product**: Open roles for Staff Full Stack Engineer and Senior Infrastructure Engineer indicate continued platform investment in AI capabilities and infrastructure. [linkedin.com](https://linkedin.com/company/quandri) ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Employees are called "Quandronauts." The company says it models its culture on a crew of interstellar astronauts rather than a family, emphasizing innovation, data-driven decision-making, customer-centricity, and big-ambition risk-taking. [quandri.io](https://www.quandri.io/us/working-at-quandri) - **Hybrid work model**: Vancouver-based staff work from the Gastown office 3 days per week and host 3 social events per month. A "Work From Anywhere" program allows up to 60 remote work days per calendar year. [quandri.io](https://www.quandri.io/us/working-at-quandri) - **Compensation & benefits**: Competitive packages include stock options, a Group Retirement Savings Plan (GRSP), free financial advisory sessions, an annual learning & development fund, comprehensive health benefits, a lifestyle spending account, mental health coverage, and 4 weeks paid time off. [quandri.io](https://www.quandri.io/us/working-at-quandri) - **Hiring experience**: The company uses AI to handle administrative and logistical work in the interview process so interviewers can show up more fully in every conversation — part of its philosophy of automating the repetitive internally, too.
