This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering impactful product initiatives. MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Experience: ~3-5 years of experience in product management preferably in a SaaS environment. - Advanced proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Aha!). - Strong understanding of market research and competitive analysis. - Strong technical aptitude – Comfortable working with technical systems, reading API documentation, understanding data models, and collaborating closely with engineering teams. - API fluency – Confident using and troubleshooting REST APIs, interpreting payloads, and understanding how systems integrate. - Enjoys getting into the details – Naturally curious and willing to dive deep into complex payroll, award interpretation, and edge-case scenarios to find the right solution. - Analytical problem solver – Able to break down ambiguous compliance or product problems into clear, actionable requirements. - Product mindset – Balances technical depth with customer outcomes, helping translate compliance complexity into scalable product capabilities. - Payroll and compliance knowledge (preferred) – Experience with payroll systems, employment legislation, awards/EBAs, or pay compliance is highly desirable, but can be learned by someone with strong technical and analytical skills. - Ownership and curiosity – Takes initiative, asks good questions, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve.
