In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world. ## The Role We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own how our device software behaves. You'll take the product vision and turn it into features our software team can build with confidence. This is product work at the level of detail. You'll think through how features should behave in every situation, including the edge cases, and give the team clear answers. You'll also make sure that work gets delivered. That means keeping the backlog in shape, setting priorities and following features through to release. You'll start on future releases of CoMind One, our first product, and help shape CoVision as it moves towards delivery. As the team and product line grow, so does the role. At CoMind, all team members work at least 4 days per week from our new Kings Cross offices, plus a flexible work-from-home day. Responsibilities: - Define how features work, step by step, including the edge cases and failure modes that matter in a clinical setting. - Package features for build: what it does, why it matters, what it looks like, and the decision logic behind it. - Prototype flows and interactions using AI tools, so the team sees the idea before they build it. - Sit with the software team and make the call when a feature question comes up. - Act as the link between our commercial team and the software team, turning customer and market needs into clear requirements. Use quick prototypes to test those needs with customers and the commercial team before they reach the backlog. - Shape the product roadmap with the Product Lead. - Own the software backlog in Jira: intake, triage and grooming, so it reflects real priority. - Write acceptance criteria and check that what ships matches what was intended. - Partner with the Project Manager, who runs sprints, so sequencing and timing reflect real priority rather than convenience. - Keep decisions and documentation in Confluence, not lost in Slack. - AI is fundamental to our culture — it's not just a tool, but a core part of how we work, collaborate, and innovate. We expect all team members to embrace AI in their daily work and continuously find new ways to use it effectively. Skills & Experience: - Demonstrable product management experience on software that runs on physical hardware. - You understand the pace of regulated hardware: long development cycles and infrequent releases. - Evidence of making product decisions from logic and a deep understanding of users. - Writing requirements precise enough for engineers to build without repeated back-and-forth. - You're comfortable debating a feature with engineers and explaining why it matters for the product. - A natural translator: equally comfortable in a conversation with a non-technical stakeholder describing a problem and in a ticket-grooming session with engineers debating implementation trade-offs. - You use AI tools heavily in your day-to-day work. - Hands-on experience building interactive prototypes, using AI tools to turn an idea into something clickable that users and engineers can react to. Nice to have: - Medical device experience, or exposure to ISO 13485 or IEC 62304. - Software engineering or technical background. - Experience with embedded or real-time software. Benefits: - Company equity plan so all employees share in the success of the company - Salary-sacrifice pension scheme - Private medical, dental and vision insurance (medical history disregarded) - Group life insurance at 4x annual income - Comprehensive mental health support, including unlimited access to 1:1 sessions with trained professionals - Unlimited holiday allowance (+ bank holidays) and one week of remote working per quarter - Lunch voucher (£10) every day for JustEat and free dinner on those days where you need to work later - Twice weekly deliveries of fresh fruit and an extensive selection of snacks and drinks - YuLife subscription, allowing you to turn your daily steps and meditation into discounts at a range of stores Disclaimer - We use Granola, an AI notetaker, throughout our interview process to help capture notes. It's used only for note-taking during the conversation. Transcripts aren't saved to shared drives or stored externally. Let us know if you'd prefer we don't. ## About CoMind ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: CoMind is a neurotechnology company developing non-invasive brain monitoring devices that use light to measure critical neurophysiological signals at the patient’s bedside. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: London, England, United Kingdom - **Founded**: 2018 - **Founders**: James Dacombe ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Medical Equipment Manufacturing / Neurotechnology - **Target customers**: B2B — hospitals, intensive care units, operating rooms, and emergency departments - **Mission**: To redefine the way the brain is measured and treated to optimise patient outcomes across the care continuum. ## Products & Services - **CoVision AI Platform**: An AI-powered platform that delivers predictive insights from non-invasive brain monitoring data, enabling clinicians to anticipate complications like stroke, seizures, and secondary brain injury. - **Non-Invasive Brain Monitoring Device**: A bedside device using low-powered lasers (photonics) to measure cerebral blood flow and other neurophysiological signals in a single, simple, non-invasive measurement — currently in development and awaiting FDA approval. ## Market Standing - **Total Funding**: $121.5M (as of late 2025) - **Latest Round**: $60M Series A (October 2025), led by Plural Platform, with participation from Octopus Ventures, LocalGlobe, Angelini Ventures, and Crane Venture Partners - **Key Metric**: $121.5M total funding raised across 5 rounds - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Octopus Ventures, LocalGlobe, Angelini Ventures, Crane Venture Partners, Plural Platform; manufacturing partnership with Benchmark (announced November 2025) - **Growth Signals**: 60 employees (+35% YoY); operating in 5 countries (UK, US, Poland, Ireland, Spain); first peer-reviewed papers published in Neurophotonics (March 2026); actively hiring for senior engineering, data science, and program management roles ## Competitive Advantages - **First-mover in non-invasive brain monitoring**: CoMind’s technology provides a multidimensional view of brain activity using light — a category currently dominated by invasive tools or less effective non-invasive alternatives. - **AI-powered predictive analytics**: The CoVision platform turns raw neurophysiological data into actionable clinical insights, giving it a software moat on top of the hardware device. - **Strong IP and published research**: The company has published peer-reviewed papers establishing the science behind non-invasive cerebral blood flow monitoring, validating its approach in the academic community. - **Backed by top-tier investors**: The investor syndicate includes deep-tech and healthcare specialists, providing both capital and strategic support for regulatory and commercial scaling. ## Strategic Focus - **Regulatory approval**: Actively pursuing FDA clearance for its device, with clinical trials and regulatory submissions underway. - **Scaling manufacturing**: Partnered with Benchmark to industrialise production of its photonics-based device, as featured in the Financial Times. - **Commercial expansion**: Building out commercial teams (Chief Commercial Officer hired) and targeting US and European hospital systems. - **R&D pipeline**: Continued investment in AI/ML for predictive analytics and expanding the range of measurable neurophysiological signals. ## Why Work Here - **Mission-driven culture**: CoMind’s team is motivated by the personal impact of brain conditions (TBI, stroke, sepsis, dementia) and the goal of transforming outcomes for millions of patients. - **Values**: Velocity, Simplicity, Ownership, Customer Obsession, Curiosity — with a focus on excellence and relentless execution. - **Benefits**: Daily lunch voucher via JustEat, comprehensive mental health support, group life assurance, private medical/dental/vision insurance, company pension scheme, and company equity plan. - **Work environment**: Based in Kings Cross, London (HQ), with offices in the US, Poland, Ireland, and Spain.
