Our innovative memory-as-a-service platform combines intuitive, AI-enabled tools with a seamless user experience to make creating personalized keepsakes easy and joyful. We’re a fast-growing, purpose-driven company expanding beyond yearbooks into travel and experiential memories, and we’re equally intentional about creating a workplace where people feel supported, empowered, and connected to the impact of their work. ## About the Role Treering is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Treering Yearbooks. This role will serve as the voice of the customer, leveraging data, market insights, and user research to guide product decisions that improve engagement, retention, and business outcomes for schools, families, and yearbook communities. You will partner closely with Design, Engineering, QA, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations to shape the future of Treering Yearbooks, supporting one of Treering's most established and impactful products. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—someone who can balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution while driving alignment across multiple initiatives and stakeholders. ## What You'll Do Product Strategy & Roadmap - Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs. - Develop a deep understanding of the product, its history, current state, and future opportunities. - Evaluate existing features, workflows, and technical constraints to identify opportunities for innovation, scalability, and growth. - Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives. - Identify and champion opportunities involving AI, personalization, collaboration, and other emerging capabilities that enhance the customer experience. Data & Analytics - Define and monitor key product metrics, including activation, engagement, retention, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact. - Establish best practices for product measurement, experimentation, and decision-making. - Leverage product analytics, customer behavior data, and user feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. - Build dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into product performance and business outcomes. - Design, execute, and evaluate experiments to inform product direction and investment decisions. Customer & Market Insights - Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including customer interviews, surveys, usability testing, and market analysis. - Develop a deep understanding of the needs, behaviors, and pain points of multiple user groups. - Translate research findings into actionable recommendations, product requirements, and strategic opportunities. - Serve as the internal advocate for the customer throughout the product development lifecycle. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution - Operate comfortably at both the strategic and execution levels, setting direction, digging into data, triaging and resolving issues, and partnering across teams to keep product initiatives on track and deliver results. - Lead initiatives from discovery through launch, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable outcomes. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive successful delivery. - Create clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation. - Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and facilitate decision-making across teams. - Communicate product strategy, roadmap updates, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. ## What You Bring ## Experience - 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior-level product management role. - Proven experience owning multiple product areas or a product portfolio from strategy through execution and ongoing optimization. - Demonstrated success delivering customer-facing products within technology, SaaS, consumer, or B2B2C environments. - Experience supporting products that serve multiple user personas or stakeholder groups is strongly preferred. Data & Analytical Skills - Strong experience using product analytics and business intelligence tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, GA, Metabase, or similar platforms. - Comfortable analyzing data independently and translating insights into product recommendations. - Experience developing metrics frameworks, dashboards, and experimentation strategies. - Ability to balance quantitative analysis with qualitative customer insights. Product Leadership - Strong product judgment and customer empathy. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. - Ability to simplify complex problems and drive alignment across diverse teams. - Experience working within Agile product development environments. - Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive results without direct authority. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience in EdTech, consumer products, publishing, content platforms, or marketplace businesses. - Experience with AI-powered features, personalization, or recommendation systems. - MBA or equivalent advanced degree. Success in This Role Within your first year: - You have developed a deep understanding of Treering Yearbooks, customer segments, and business drivers. - Product performance is measured through clear, trusted metrics and dashboards. - You have delivered meaningful product improvements with measurable impact on customer and business outcomes. - Stakeholders have visibility into priorities, timelines, and roadmap decisions. - Leadership views you as a strategic thought partner, helping shape priorities across Treering Yearbooks and future growth initiatives. ## About Treering ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Treering is a memory-as-a-service platform that helps individuals and organizations turn life’s meaningful moments into personalized, premium physical keepsakes using AI-driven design and just-in-time printing. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series B; total funding $7.6M) - **Headquarters**: Redwood City, California, United States - **Founded**: 2009 (also reported as 2010) - **Founders**: Aaron Greco, Brady McCue, Kevin Zerber, Chris Pratt ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Memory keepsakes, personalized photobooks and yearbooks, technology-enabled printing - **Target customers**: B2B (schools, cruise lines, travel partners, brands) and B2C (families, individuals) - **Mission or purpose statement**: “To preserve life’s most meaningful experiences through innovative memory solutions.” ## Products & Services - **School Yearbooks**: White-label yearbook creation platform used by over 15,000 schools worldwide.
