While initially serving as Project Manager on a variety of transportation projects, this position will ultimately play a key role in expanding our major project capabilities through pursuit leadership, mentoring project managers, and supporting the successful execution of large, complex, and alternative delivery projects. This position could be based out of any of our regional offices in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, or Ohio. Major Project & Alternative Delivery Support: - Support pursuits and delivery planning for major transportation projects. - Contribute to design-build and other alternative delivery pursuits by helping develop delivery strategies, execution plans, and team structures. - Serve as Project Manager on select design-build, construction manager/general contractor (CMGC), progressive design-build, or other alternative delivery projects. - Advise project teams on contract structures, partnering approaches, risk allocation, and coordination with contractors and teaming partners. - Help strengthen the firm's capabilities and readiness for increasingly complex transportation opportunities. Project Management Leadership & Mentorship: - Mentor and coach Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers across the Transportation Sector. - Share best practices related to project delivery, client communication, financial management, and risk mitigation. - Support the professional development of transportation staff through coaching, knowledge sharing, and succession planning efforts. - Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
