This is a hands-on, client-facing role at the center of an account we are actively investing in and elevating. You will own a multi-retailer portfolio spanning Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Criteo, and Home Depot's Orange Apron Media. We are looking for someone fluent in self-service retail media platforms who can build and defend a point of view with clients, and who treats budget governance and operational rigor as core to the craft rather than an afterthought. This is a senior seat with real autonomy. You will receive clear scope, priorities, and senior-level direction, and from there you will run your platforms end to end and lead the team supporting them, anticipating what the client and account leadership need and bringing solutions alongside the issues you raise. ## What You Will Own - Multi-retailer platform ownership. Serve as primary platform owner across Walmart Connect (search and display), Target Roundel, and Criteo for Lowe’s, Costco, and Best Buy. Own campaign architecture and structure, keyword and targeting strategy, bid strategy, budget pacing, cross-retailer allocation, performance analysis, and tentpole planning through Deals Week, Circle Week, and holiday. - Cross-retailer insight. Translate retailer-specific results into a coherent portfolio narrative: portfolio-level budget recommendations, incrementality perspective, and category and competitive context. - Client leadership. Own the full operating rhythm for your platforms, not just campaign execution. Set agendas, present performance and recommendations directly to client stakeholders in weekly and monthly forums, flag risk early, and follow through on every commitment. - Budget governance. Own pacing, spend caps, flight dating, and billing reconciliation for your platforms. Identify and escalate discrepancies such as misbilled activity, platform outages, and attribution gaps, and lead make-good and credit conversations with retailer partners. - Retailer partnerships. Build durable relationships with Walmart Connect, Roundel, and Criteo partner teams to unlock betas, secure support, and resolve issues quickly. - Team leadership. Manage and develop the Associates and Senior Associates supporting your platforms. Set their priorities, review and quality-check their work, coach on platform craft and client communication, and give the regular feedback that moves them forward. - Process and team leverage. Document campaign structures, naming conventions, QA checklists, and optimization cadences so the account runs on process rather than tribal knowledge. Set the standard your team and our offshore execution partners work to, and hold the quality bar across everything that ships. - Planning and strategy. Contribute to annual and quarterly planning, new product launch support plans, and test-and-learn roadmaps in partnership with account leadership. ## What You Bring - 5+ years in retail media or commerce media, with hands-on, in-platform ownership of self-service retail media networks. - Demonstrated depth in Walmart Connect and/or Target Roundel (TPA / self-service). Criteo self-service is a strong complement. Experience across two or more of these is a significant advantage. - Broader retail media experience across networks such as Amazon Ads, Instacart, Kroger Precision Marketing, CitrusAd, or Home Depot's Orange Apron Media is welcome and valued. - Strong command of budget management fundamentals: pacing, caps, flighting, invoice reconciliation, and spend or billing discrepancy resolution. - Demonstrated experience owning client-facing communication: leading performance readouts, defending recommendations, and managing expectations under scrutiny. - A genuine understanding of what client and campaign management actually are: owning the operating rhythm, connecting platform activity to client objectives, and leading the conversation rather than reporting into it. - Experience managing, mentoring, or directing junior team members such as Associates or Senior Associates, including delegating work, reviewing output, and developing people over time. - Proven self-direction at a senior level: you have owned platforms or workstreams where you set the plan, executed it, and reported up. - Exceptional organizational command across campaigns, budgets, timelines, and client deliverables, supported by structured trackers, documented process, and clean campaign taxonomies. - Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to move from platform exports to an executive-ready story. - US-based with availability to work core US business hours (Central or Eastern time zone preferred). What Sets You Apart - Familiarity with Skai, Pacvue, or a similar retail media management platform. - Direct experience managing Walmart Connect or Roundel through a major tentpole event (Deals Week, Circle Week, holiday) at meaningful spend levels. - Experience navigating retailer credit and make-good processes or platform outage remediation. - Experience working with distributed or offshore execution teams, providing clear briefs and quality control. - Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker. - Category experience in home care, home appliances, or durable goods. - Familiarity with retail media measurement nuances: attribution windows, in-store versus online attribution, and dual-seat or duplication risk. ## Why This Role The account is in an active build phase. Platform structures are being rebuilt, the measurement approach is being redefined, and the retail media operating model is being designed now. You would join early enough to shape how it works and senior enough for your point of view to carry. ## Compensation $85,000 - $120,000 annually. Placement within the range is based on relevant experience, skills, and other factors permitted by law. ## About Jellyfish ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Jellyfish is an integrated global digital marketing business that combines media, creative, and data with the power of Generative AI to help brands move faster and smarter. - **Entity Type**: Private (acquired by The Brandtech Group in 2023) - **Headquarters**: London, United Kingdom - **Founded**: 2005 - **Founders**: Not publicly available ## Core Business - Primary industry: Advertising Services / Digital Marketing - Target customers: B2B, primarily large enterprises and progressive global brands (ecommerce, CPG, entertainment, gaming) - Mission: To reinvent marketing for progressive brands, uniting media, creative, and data through cutting-edge technology and Generative AI. ## Products & Services - **AI Studios**: AI-powered production service that streamlines asset creation, delivering thousands of assets 55% faster using the proprietary AI platform, Pencil. - **Pencil**: An AI platform trained on $2.65B in ad spend and 235,000 AI-generated assets, used for creative preflight testing and optimization. - **Now Next Soon**: AI-powered simulation tool that runs every possible scenario from a media plan in minutes, allowing brands to adjust before committing budget. - **J+ Bidding**: A dynamic in-market ad budgeting system that adjusts in real-time, ensuring every media spend informs the next. - **Share of Model™**: A platform that tracks brand perception on Large Language Models (LLMs), helping optimize messaging and content. - **Social Agents™**: A tool that detects cultural signals in real-time, helping brands stay ahead of trends. - **Switchboard**: A platform that connects creative and media performance data to generate higher-performing campaigns. - **Language Services**: A global team that creates and adapts content for international audiences. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (privately held, acquired by The Brandtech Group in 2023) - **Key Metric**: Annual Revenue of GBP 93M (~$118M USD) as of latest data - **Total Funding**: $5.0M (Series A in 2006, led by Clyde Street Investments and Kegonsa Capital Partners) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: The Brandtech Group (parent company), Google (multi-region partnership across GMP, Cloud, and Training), Salesforce (Consulting Partner), Amazon (extensively certified team), Meta (global training, creative, paid social, and analytics) - **Growth Signals**: Employs 1,654 people across 50 countries; operates 35 offices in 17 countries; recent focus on Generative AI with proprietary tools; acquired multiple agencies including Latitude Digital Marketing (2019), Perelview (2019), Quill, and Reamp (2020). ## Competitive Advantages - **Proprietary AI Technology**: The Pencil AI platform is trained on $2.65B in ad spend and 235,000 AI-generated assets, giving it a unique data advantage. - **Deep Platform Partnerships**: Decade-long, multi-region Google partnership; Salesforce Consulting Partner; extensively certified Amazon team; global Meta partnership. - **Integrated Model**: Combines media, creative, data, and technology under one roof, offering end-to-end campaign management. - **Global Scale**: Presence in 50+ countries with 35 offices, allowing for localized execution with global consistency. - **Speed-to-Market**: AI-driven tools that deliver assets 55% faster and optimize media spend in real-time. ## Strategic Focus - **Generative AI Integration**: Embedding AI across all service lines (media, creative, data) to drive efficiency and performance. - **Platform Ecosystem**: Deepening partnerships with major digital platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, Salesforce) to stay ahead of platform changes. - **Brand Safety in AI Era**: Developing tools like Share of Model™ to help brands understand and manage their perception on LLMs and AI platforms. - **Talent Development**: Investing in the Jellyfish Academy to nurture diverse new talent and upskill existing employees. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Described as "passionate about giving talent a platform to perform," with an emphasis on individual ownership of career progress.
