## Job description

Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution? The Solutions Consulting team at Index operates at the intersection of Sales, Account Management, Software Development, and Marketing. As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership skills to support large-scale publisher’s integrations, resolve complex challenges, and mentor junior team members. Your role will involve providing strategic technical guidance to clients while optimizing their experience with IX’s digital media and AdTech solutions.

- Understanding the Ad Tech industry: You have a deep understanding of Adtech and Martech technology, including SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, CDPs, and Data Activation Platforms. You understand the life of an ad call.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

- Lead Strategic Client Engagements: Take ownership of the technical relationship with key publisher, managing complex integrations, optimizations, and resolving escalated technical issues. Act as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner.
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, working directly with Product and Engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions.
- Advanced Solution Design & Consulting: Work with publishers and internal teams (PDs, Sales, Product, etc.) to design and implement advanced, tailored solutions that drive performance and meet business objectives.
- Projects and Internal Initiatives: Work with internal teams on strategic initiatives that shape the vision of the company, using your technical and analytical skills to overcome roadblocks and provide insights that help to accomplish the project goals.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to advocate for clients’ technical needs and ensure seamless communication between teams.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Solutions Consultants and other team members, helping them build technical expertise and professional skills.
- Process Optimization & Improvement: Identify areas of improvement within internal processes and suggest actionable solutions to enhance team efficiency and service delivery.
- Tool Mastery: Become a subject matter expert on internal tools such as the Index UI, Looker, and Salesforce, using these tools to drive insights and client success.
- Knowledge Sharing: Develop internal and external documentation to streamline troubleshooting, integrations, and solution design processes. Provide at least one training a quarter about a relevant topic that helps elevate the technical level of the team.

Here’s what you need:

- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, or a related technical role.
- Demonstrated experience working with large publishers or advertisers within the digital advertising ecosystem.
- In-depth understanding of ad technology and operations, including ad tags, pixels, cookies, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience integrating CTV & Video partners through VAST TAG and/or server to server integrations (like Publica, Freewheel, Spring Serve)
- Advanced knowledge of instream and outstream video advertising formats, ad rendering methodologies (VAST, VPAID, VMAP, MRAID) and the respective player nuances
- Advanced knowledge of CTV programmatic advertising, SSAI process, identity protocols, and integration methodologies (OpenRTB, IFA, Prebid Server)
- Experience with Internet protocols (IP, HTTP) and network traffic inspection tools (Charles Proxy, Proxyman, Fiddler).
- Proficiency in JavaScript for creating custom solutions and debugging.
- Knowledge of first party data, third party data and universal IDs
- Experience of different integration types such as Prebid, Open Bidding, TAM, Prebid Server and ORTB
- Expertise in Web, Video and Mobile integrations
- Expertise in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
- Advanced problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn and scrape KAFKA topics and parse Audit log data.
- Experience managing large projects with multiple cross functional stakeholders in different global regions.
- Advanced presentation and communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, and outside the box

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM/ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with BI (Business Intelligence) tools like Looker and Redash
- Highly motivated self-starter with a persuasive and success-driven personality
