At LeoLabs, we're building the living map of activity in space. Through our proprietary global radar network and AI-enabled analytics platform, we collect millions of measurements daily on more than 25,000 objects in low Earth orbit (LEO). Our radar-powered intelligence protects billions in assets, monitors adversarial behavior, and ensures safe operations for commercial and government missions. We're not just building technology, we are redefining global security, safety, and transparency in space. As orbital activity accelerates and threats grow more complex, LeoLabs is a trusted partner for Space Domain Awareness, Space Traffic Management, and Satellite Operations for top-tier space operators and allied defense organizations. If you're looking to work on mission-critical challenges at the forefront of aerospace, national security, and AI, your impact starts here. We are hiring a Senior Supply Planner on the Radar Supply Chain Management team to lead supply planning and material readiness for advanced radar and sensing systems. This role will translate engineering demand, program requirements, supplier constraints, and inventory data into actionable supply plans that support development, production, and deployment timelines. In this role, you will help create structure and predictability across a complex supply environment, ensuring teams have clear visibility into material readiness, inventory risk, and supplier execution as programs move from development through deployment. The ideal candidate has experience supporting complex hardware programs in aerospace, defense, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities. You will be responsible for identifying supply risks, maintaining material readiness, coordinating long-lead planning, and helping accelerate time-sensitive deployment schedules. This role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, and proactive communication across cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role based out of Menlo Park, CA ## Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and execute supply plans that support engineering builds, manufacturing schedules, deployment timelines, and customer/program commitments. - Analyze demand forecasts, BOMs, inventory levels, supplier lead times, open orders, and production requirements to identify material gaps and readiness risks. - Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align supply planning decisions with program priorities. - Monitor shortages, supplier constraints, capacity risks, and schedule changes; develop mitigation plans and escalate issues that could affect build or deployment timelines. - Support S&OP, integrated business planning, and cross-functional material readiness reviews with accurate planning inputs and risk updates. - Develop inventory strategies that balance operational readiness, working capital, cost, shelf-life/obsolescence risk, and program schedule requirements. - Support NPI, prototype-to-production transition, and production ramp activities by developing material readiness plans and identifying supply constraints early. - Coordinate long-lead, strategic, and high-risk material planning for critical programs and customer commitments. - Recommend process improvements that strengthen planning accuracy, data quality, planning cadence, and supply chain resilience. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 7+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, production planning, materials planning, or supply chain management. - Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance. - Experience supporting complex hardware, aerospace, defense, electronics, radar/RF, or advanced technology products. - Strong understanding of inventory management, BOM structures, MRP, lead-time management, and supply chain operations. - Experience using ERP, MRP, planning, and inventory management systems to maintain accurate supply and demand signals. - Advance proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, filtering, sorting, and data analysis. - Ability to analyze complex planning data, identify supply risks, and convert findings into actionable mitigation plans. - Strong organizational, communication, follow-through, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage competing priorities, shifting requirements, and time-sensitive program needs in a fast-paced environment. - To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting radar, RF, aerospace, defense, satellite, electronics, or advanced sensing technology programs. - Experience supporting government-funded programs and complex contractual delivery requirements. - Knowledge of supply chain risk management, supplier capacity planning, and long-lead material strategies. - Experience supporting low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing, prototype builds, NPI, or production ramp environments. - Familiarity with NetSuite, advanced planning tools, dashboards, or reporting used to track material availability and supply chain performance. - APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent). - Experience supporting classified programs and secure supply chain operations. Within 1 month, you'll: - Complete onboarding and learn LeoLabs' supply chain structure, ERP/planning systems, material flow, approval processes, and reporting cadences. - Build relationships with the Associate Inventory Manager and stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. - Learn active programs, deployment priorities, current supply plans, long-lead materials, key suppliers, and existing material readiness risks. Within 3 months, you'll: - Begin managing supply planning activities for select programs, product lines, or workstreams, including demand review, material readiness tracking, and risk identification. - Translate evolving engineering, manufacturing, and program inputs into structured supply plans and clear status updates. - Identify and communicate shortages, lead-time constraints, inventory gaps, and supplier risks that could affect build or deployment schedules. Within 6 months, you'll: - Independently manage supply plans across multiple programs or product lines, including forecast inputs, inventory targets, lead-time assumptions, and material readiness reviews. - Drive alignment between Engineering demand, Procurement execution, Inventory Management, and manufacturing/deployment schedules. - Recommend process, data, or reporting improvements that improve planning accuracy, supply visibility, and cross-functional decision-making. Within 12 months, you'll: - Serve as a central planning partner for material readiness across the Radar Supply Chain organization and key program/deployment stakeholders. - Establish scalable supply planning practices that support increasing program complexity, deployment volume, and long-lead material needs. - Drive measurable improvements in material availability, supply risk visibility, inventory health, and planning cycle time. ## Compensation The base salary range for this position is $104,000 + bonus + stock options + benefits Compensation Note: The salary range for this position is benchmarked based on the designated primary work location for the role.
