Our robots work alongside warehouse teams to unload trucks and containers — one of the toughest, most understaffed jobs in logistics — making the work safer, faster, and more efficient for the people doing it.  Loading trucks comes next, followed by the Dill Autonomy Engine: generalized autonomy that will eventually orchestrate robots across entire logistics processes. We're looking for a Simulation Software Engineer to build and scale the robotics simulation infrastructure that lets teams develop, test, and validate robotic systems. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who thrives at the intersection of robotics, software, and infrastructure — and who wants their work to have a direct impact on how autonomous robots get built and validated in production. ## What You'll Do - Develop and maintain simulation environments using Isaac Sim - Set up and manage simulation infrastructure, including cloud-based environments - Build tools, APIs, and workflows to support automated testing, validation, and internal tooling for simulation users - Collaborate with software and testing teams to integrate simulation into development pipelines and CI/CD workflows - Improve usability and scalability of simulation systems across engineering teams ## What You'll Bring - 3–7+ years of experience in robotics, simulation, or software engineering - Hands-on experience with Isaac Sim (strongly preferred) - Strong programming skills (Python preferred) - Experience with cloud infrastructure and environment setup - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows - Ability to work cross-functionally with software and testing teams Nice to have: - Experience with additional simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, MuJoCo) - Experience building developer tools or internal platforms ## About Pickle Robot Company ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Pickle Robot builds physical AI–powered robots that automate the unloading of trucks, trailers, and shipping containers in warehouse and supply chain operations. - **Entity Type**: Private (VC-backed, Series B — 6 funding rounds, ~$102.5M total raised) - **Headquarters**: Charlestown, Boston, Massachusetts, United States - **Founded**: 2018 - **Founders**: Founded by a team of MIT alumni, including AJ Lonska (CEO) and Ariana "Ari" Eisenstein (CTO) — both MIT engineering graduates.
