The ideal candidate will have experience in a network security or SOC environment, a solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, and the ability to identify, document, and escalate security events in accordance with established procedures. ## Responsibilities - Monitor and analyze cybersecurity events using SOC tools. - Identify, investigate, and appropriately handle Events of Interest (EOIs). - Escalate cybersecurity events and incidents in accordance with established procedures. - Generate incident response documentation and reports. - Process incident-related communications, including initial notifications, follow-ups, requests for information, status updates, and resolution activities. - Document and track cybersecurity incidents through resolution. - Follow established security operations, incident response, and reporting procedures. - Collaborate with SOC and cybersecurity personnel to support timely resolution of security events. ## Qualifications - Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network security, a SOC, or a related IT security environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. - Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. - Experience with security monitoring, event analysis, incident handling, or related SOC functions. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Active Secret security clearance required.
