This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph to start. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including a TUS team lead, program Chief Scientist, end users, and site staff to support and advance HPC modeling and simulation capabilities. Responsibilities: The engineer will serve as an active member of an on-site Technical User Support team, supporting HPC users through their modeling and simulation workflows, developing and maintaining software in heterogeneous multi-platform Linux environments, analyzing and debugging existing codebases, applying software engineering best practices including requirements analysis, design, coding, documentation, and unit testing, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers and scientists, and designing and delivering training workshops, tutorials, and onboarding materials for HPC users and internal staff.
