## Job description

Software bouwen is niet meer wat het was. Bij AE werk je aan uitdagende projecten en je doet dat in een omgeving waar AI geen gadget is maar de manier waarop we ontwikkelen, reviewen en leveren fundamenteel verandert.

AE QuietLoud is de product engineering tak van AE: een team dat enerzijds innovatieve software op maat bouwt voor klanten, en anderzijds slimme, herbruikbare bouwblokken ontwikkelt die bij meerdere klanten ingezet worden. Denk aan een self-service gebruikersbeheerplatform met Auth0-integratie, of AI-gedreven features die we als component uitrollen over verschillende contexten heen. We bouwen de studio verder uit en zoeken daarvoor meerdere software engineers. Dit is geen typische consultancyrol: je werkt mee aan echte producten, in een klein team met veel ownership — en met de ruggensteun van 400 AE-collega's als dat nodig is.

Wat is je focus?

- Je ontwikkelt features voor AE-producten én klantspecifieke applicaties — afhankelijk van je interesse en de noden van het team
- Je werkt mee aan generieke bouwblokken: componenten die we eenmalig bouwen en breed inzetbaar maken, ook met AI-functionaliteit
- Je integreert AI-capabilities (LLMs, agents, generatieve functies) daar waar ze meerwaarde bieden — pragmatisch, niet als doel op zich
- Je denkt mee over architectuur, kwaliteit en lange termijn onderhoudbaarheid
- Je schakelt tussen frontend, backend en infra naargelang het project — en naargelang jouw sterktes
- Je werkt samen met klanten en andere AE-teams, en legt verbindingen tussen technische keuzes en business impact

Wie ben jij?

- Ervaring met of sterke interesse in full stack development — je hoeft niet overal expert in te zijn, maar je bent leergierig over de hele stack
- Affiniteit met clean code, goede afspraken en kwaliteitsgedreven werken
- Comfortabel in wisselende contexten: project A is niet project B, en dat vind je net interessant
- Je denkt na over oplossingen vóór je begint te coderen

- Frontend: TypeScript, Vue.js of Angular
- Backend: Node.js, .NET of Java — of productkennis van Kafka, OAuth, Go, ElasticSearch
