We believe businesses deserve financial infrastructure tailored to how they actually operate. That's why we're creating a new category of business banking. We combine the reliability of traditional banking (high yields, competitive rewards, and comprehensive security) with industry-specific features that make businesses more efficient, more competitive, and more profitable. Started in 2021, Slash is one of the fastest growing fintechs in the world and we power over ten billion dollars a year in business purchasing across numerous industries. We recently raised a $100M Series C led by Ribbit Capital with participation from Khosla Ventures, Goodwater Capital, NEA, and Y Combinator, accelerating our expansion into new markets and products. Slash is headquartered in San Francisco, and has a strong in-person culture. ## About the role Slash's stablecoin and on-chain infrastructure team builds the rails powering some of the fastest-growing surfaces of the company. We launched stablecoin payments less than a year ago and have already crossed $3B in annualized volume. Our Global USD Account is a USD account for businesses in 130+ countries, backed by USDSL, our own stablecoin issued on Base has become the entry point for thousands of businesses globally that have never had real access to U.S. dollar rails. Our Global Card lets customers spend their stablecoin balance anywhere Visa is accepted. We're hiring a product engineer to build the next chapter of all of this. You'll work on the Global USD Account, our expanded global account offerings, stablecoin payments, and the issuing stack behind the Global Card. If you want to build infrastructure where on-chain rails meet traditional banking and ship it to real businesses moving real money, this is the role. ## What you'll do - Own and ship full product surfaces end-to-end across the Global USD Account, expanded global accounts, stablecoin payments, and our Global Card — from data model to API to the product customers interact with daily - Build and extend our core stablecoin infrastructure: on-chain execution, on-ramp and off-ramp orchestration, USDSL mint/redeem flows, and the settlement systems that move billions of dollars a year - Build the issuing stack for our Global Card, where stablecoin balances integrate with card rails, handling spend authorization, settlement, and the financial primitives that make a stablecoin-backed card feel as smooth as a traditional debit - Expand the Global USD Account into new markets and new use cases, giving more businesses real access to U.S. dollar rails - Work directly with customers to figure out what to build next, and partner with compliance and design to ship it correctly We're looking for someone who - Has shipped and owned full product surfaces, not just isolated features but entire systems from data model to deploy - Is a strong full-stack engineer: comfortable designing API endpoints, writing database migrations, and building the frontend end to end - Has strong product instincts and thinks holistically about UX, API ergonomics, and system correctness, and pushes back when something doesn't feel right - Is excited to go deep on on-chain systems, stablecoins, and the messy seams between crypto and traditional finance - Thrives working independently in a small team that ships fast - Cares about craft: writes clean, well-tested code, thinks about edge cases, and takes pride in building software that's delightful to use and correct under load Strongly preferred - Comfortable reasoning about on-chain UX and settlement mechanics, including signing, finality, gas, and confirmation tradeoffs - Hands-on experience integrating with stablecoin on/off-ramp orchestration APIs, custody providers, or settlement infrastructure - Familiarity with cross-border money movement, FX, or treasury systems ## Nice to have - Experience with Account Abstraction, smart wallets, paymasters, or multi-sig / key quorum systems - Card issuing experience, especially stablecoin-backed cards or programs built on top of issuer-processors - Background in regulated fintech — payments, banking, or compliance-heavy infrastructure ## What's in it for you - Opportunity for high growth - High autonomy + ownership culture - Comprehensive health + benefits plan - Working out of our downtown San Francisco office space - Unlimited PTO ## About Slash Financial ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Slash provides a modern, all-in-one business banking, corporate cards, and treasury platform, reimagining financial services for specific industries. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series C) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, USA - **Founded**: 2021 - **Founders**: Victor Cardenas (CEO) and Kevin Bai (CRO) ## Core Business - Primary industry/industries: Financial Technology (Fintech), Business Banking, Payments - Target customers: B2B, targeting businesses of all sizes from startups to enterprises (Silver/Gold/Black tiers based on payment volume) - Mission or purpose statement: To build a higher standard in business finance by moving beyond one-size-fits-all banking, combining the reliability of traditional banking with industry-specific features to make businesses more efficient, competitive, and profitable. ## Products & Services - **Business Banking**: High-yield FDIC-insured accounts with enhanced coverage up to hundreds of millions, multi-entity management, and granular user controls. - **Corporate Cards**: Unlimited virtual and physical cards with cashback rewards, advanced spend controls, and multi-step payment approvals.
