## Job description

What’s in store for you: You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers:

- 6PB+ Ceph storage

- 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

The team waiting for you: As the Ecom Squad Lead, you will take on the critical function of delivering data to power the world's leading AI, Ecom, and Advertisement companies. Your key responsibilities will let you shape the future of our data delivery. You will have the autonomy to lead the Ecom squad, forming and molding the team as you see fit to achieve greatness. This role is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the growth of our people by mentoring and developing the next generation of scraping engineers within the company. Above all, you will be the guardian of our operational excellence, accountable for ensuring top-tier data quality, maintaining an exceptional developer experience, and guaranteeing the rock-solid operational stability for all the squad's services.

In this role, you will:

- Lead sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery estimates while keeping business and technical requirements aligned.
- Contribute to technical discussions and help resolve roadblocks that could slow the team down.
- Suggest product initiatives that drive key results and align squad priorities with company goals.
- Prioritize high-impact work, protect the team from scope creep, and monitor KPIs to keep performance on track.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain clear communication across the organization.
- Foster a healthy team culture, support workload balance and growth through mentorship, and continuously improve processes for greater speed and efficiency.

Your skills & experiences:

- Experience in software development and leading technical teams.
- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of a back-end language such as Python, Go, or similar would be considered a strong advantage.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, software deployment processes, and system design principles.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data to guide actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and a passion for team empowerment and continuous improvement.
