The role involves leveraging AI tools for prototyping, advocating for UX, and collaborating with engineering to deliver high-quality solutions for conversation performance. ## Job description Reports to: Head of Product Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid) Hours: Full-time Compensation: $170,000 – $200,000 ## About ReflexAI At ReflexAI, we are building the operating system for conversation performance. We believe that people will always be at the center of high-stakes conversations, and our mission is to ensure they enter those conversations with confidence and deliver an exceptional experience every time. Our platform combines hyper-realistic AI-powered training simulations with intelligent QA to support frontline teams in mission-critical conversations. Our tools work in 25 languages, are endlessly customizable to meet each business’s unique needs, and are used by customers ranging from crisis support call centers to healthcare organizations to customer service teams to sales teams negotiating big deals — any organization where empathy, quality, and excellence matter in every interaction. ## About This Role We’ve built a product our customers can’t imagine living without, and our business is growing rapidly. Now we’re at an inflection point: we’re evolving from a product with strong market fit into something more ambitious — the operating system for conversation performance. That transformation means investing in product leadership. We’re looking for a PM who can bring product intuition, UX judgment, and AI-powered execution together. This is a role for someone who thrives moving fast with a small, focused team. You’ll own products end-to-end, from conception through development and rollout, and you’ll be expected to close the gap between insight and shipped product faster than most. If you have strong design sensibility, a genuine AI-native working style, and you’re energized by having a lot of ownership while staying in the details, this might be a great fit. ## What You’ll Do - Be responsible for every aspect of your products, from concept to go-to-market and post-launch iteration - Go deep with users and customers to understand their needs — spoken and unspoken — and translate that understanding into clear decisions about what to build and why - Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0, and others) to prototype concepts, stress-test ideas, and close the gap between your thinking and what engineering needs to build - Form strong UX opinions and advocate for them — you’ll often be the primary design voice in the room - Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and beyond, and work with engineering and AI/ML partners to craft and deliver products that solve real problems and delight users - Prioritize ruthlessly by understanding and communicating the costs and benefits of each choice - Throughout everything you do, deliver solutions that are aligned with our values of Security, Customer impact, Long-term mindset, Innovation, and Inclusion You Might Be a Great Fit If… - You have at least 5 years of experience building beloved consumer products and/or taken those same sensibilities to build B2B software that users love and can’t imagine living without - You’ve used AI coding and prototyping tools to build things yourself — not as a demo, but as part of how you actually work - You have strong enough UX instincts that you can give crisp, actionable direction on interaction design and hold a high bar for craft, even without a designer in the room - You love to go deep with users and customers to truly understand their needs and motivations — and you can turn incomplete or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans - You’ve shipped in environments where the role wasn’t fully defined, and you filled the gaps - You’re a strategic and principled thinker who knows when to leverage data to inform decisions and when to follow your instincts - You are technical enough to ask engineers good questions about architecture and product decisions alike - You are relentlessly curious — you love to untangle knotty problems, learn new businesses, and play with new technology to see how it works - You have an ownership mentality — you run towards fires, roll up your sleeves to pitch in where it’s needed, and leave the products and teams you touch better than you found them - You communicate with empathy, rigor, and precision - You’re extremely kind and extremely competitive — you’re ambitious and love to win, but you know that doesn’t matter if you’re not first and foremost a good person to those around you - You’re excited about how AI can help people lean into their humanity ## What We Offer - Some of the most rewarding work you will ever do, solving real problems and helping people be the best versions of themselves - Working alongside a team that is exceptionally smart and ambitious, but also humble and kind - Flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States - Generous retirement, equity, healthcare, and PTO policies ## About ReflexAI ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: ReflexAI provides AI-powered training simulations and quality assurance platforms for contact centers handling high-stakes conversations. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: New York, New York, USA - **Founded**: 2022 - **Founders**: Sam Dorison (CEO), John Callery (CPTO) ## Core Business - Primary industry: AI-powered contact center training and quality assurance software - Target customers: B2B – enterprise organizations in crisis intervention, healthcare, government, education, customer support, and mental health - Mission: To help humans perform their best when it matters most, by scaling empathy as a skill ## Products & Services - **Prepare**: AI-driven training simulation platform that creates lifelike, role-play scenarios (voice and chat) with emotionally realistic personas. Emphasizes inspiration and results over bureaucracy. - **Remote-first**: Fully remote workplace with budget for in-person coworking days and team meetups. - **Compensation & benefits**: Equity for all staff, three weeks PTO (including birthday off), comprehensive healthcare (dental, vision, medical), 401(k) with employer contributions, continuing education stipend, and family medical leave with a return-to-work program. - **Interview experience**: Transparent process with quick decisions; candidates who complete the full process receive a $100 gift card as a thank‑you. - **Recognition**: Named one of Inc.’s 2026 Best Workplaces – based on anonymous employee feedback. - **Diversity & inclusion**: Hiring practices promote diversity; enthusiastic welcome of all backgrounds. ## Sources 1.
