The core values that ground our work, guide our decisions, and connect us together: Pragmatic Optimism Excellence without Ego Proactive Collaboration Job Overview Mainspring Energy is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support Salesforce solutions across Field Service, Operations and Maintenance, and Customer Success. This role will serve as a key technical expert for Salesforce Field Service and the broader service ecosystem, including Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce Field Service experience and can translate complex operational and customer-facing requirements into scalable, reliable solutions. This is a hands-on development role that will work closely with Field Operations, O&M, Customer Success, Engineering, and other enterprise systems leads to improve the systems supporting service delivery and the customer experience. ## Responsibilities Salesforce Development and Solution Design - Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, APIs, and native platform capabilities - Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, workflows, data models, integrations, and user experiences - Evaluate native Salesforce functionality before introducing custom development or third-party applications - Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce development best practices - Drive the adoption and maintenance of rigorous engineering methodologies, including version control, sandbox management, comprehensive testing, and streamlined release processes - Produce clear technical documentation, test plans, and deployment materials Field Service and Customer Operations - Develop and enhance Salesforce Field Service capabilities, including work orders, service appointments, scheduling, dispatch, service territories, skills, mobile workflows, and preventive maintenance - Improve workflows for field technicians, dispatchers, service coordinators, O&M teams, and customer-facing users - Build and support Service Cloud solutions for case management, escalations, service history, customer communication, and issue resolution - Provision new users, mobile app troubleshooting, and data corrections - Develop and enhance customer and partner experiences through Experience Cloud Integrations, Data, and Platform Support - Design, support, and maintain existing integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems - Support data modeling, migration, reconciliation, and data-quality efforts across customer, asset, and service records - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes - Partner with Field Operations, O&M, Customer Success, Engineering, and Enterprise Systems to gather requirements and deliver solutions - Lead or participate in discovery sessions, solution reviews, testing, and implementation planning - Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve platform performance, and increase user adoption - Communicate technical tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders - Stay current on Salesforce capabilities and recommend relevant platform improvements ## Qualifications - 7+ years of Salesforce development, configuration, or implementation experience - Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service in a complex operational environment - Strong experience with Service Cloud and the broader Salesforce platform - Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, APIs, data modeling, and Salesforce security - Ability to independently work through technically ambiguous requirements, analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver production-ready functionality -
