Continuous Improvement - Identify quality process gaps and drive improvements to issue management, reporting, governance, and escalation workflows. - Promote lessons learned, repeat-issue prevention, and disciplined corrective-action follow-through. - Advance the use of data analytics and reporting automation to improve software quality insight and operational efficiency. - Foster a culture of transparency, urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement across software development organizations. What Success Looks Like - Critical software issues are resolved efficiently with clear ownership and accountability. - Root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and validation activities are completed on time and tracked through closure. - Leadership has accurate, timely visibility into software quality metrics, risks, blockers, and program health. - Quality dashboards and KPIs provide actionable insights across programs and software domains. - Escalations are managed effectively and quality risks are addressed before customer impact whenever possible. ## What You Bring ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. - 8+ years of experience in software quality, quality operations, program quality, software validation, issue management, technical program management, or a related technical discipline. - 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional issue resolution, quality reporting, KPI management, quality governance, or program execution activities. - Strong understanding of software development, validation, release processes, defect management, and corrective-action workflows. - Experience managing issue triage, corrective actions, executive escalations, and quality governance activities. - Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, QUAL, dashboards, KPI reporting, and project-tracking tools. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, recurring issues, and process improvements using quality data. - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. - Demonstrated ability to coordinate large cross-functional teams and drive execution through influence, ownership, and accountability. - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related communications. ## Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in software quality, program quality, quality operations, technical program management, or engineering operations. - Experience supporting executive reviews, release-readiness reviews, and quality governance boards. - Experience in automotive, autonomous driving, embedded software, connected vehicle systems, or another complex product-development environment. - Knowledge of Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Homologation, and automotive quality processes. - Experience with software quality metrics, data analytics, reporting automation, and business intelligence tools.
