Scope As the Sr.Staff Engineer, Product Test Engineering at Ambiq, you will drive the development and optimization of ATE test solutions for integrated circuits, supporting product ramp-up and high-volume manufacturing. You will be responsible for improving production yield and reducing test costs while ensuring the highest standards of product quality and reliability. This role will work with Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Operations, and external OSAT partners to support new product introduction, production qualification, and manufacturing test optimization across Ambiq’s semiconductor product portfolio. The successful candidate demonstrates strong technical leadership and a data-driven approach to problem-solving. They are highly collaborative, capable of working effectively across cross-functional and global teams, and possess excellent communication skills to drive alignment with internal and external stakeholders. The person in this role will develop and maintain ATE test programs and test hardware for new and existing products throughout characterization, qualification, and production. They will lead device characterization, system-to-tester correlation, production site transfer and qualification activities, and support manufacturing ramp-up. This role will analyze test and yield data to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive yield improvement initiatives.
